Enjoy the day, and many happy returns! 😀
Yes. You, as the cache owner, can mark the TB as “Missing” from the cache. Just click on the Trackable that is missing, and look to the right for the prompt to remove it. It will ask you twice, to make sure.
I’ll repeat what my niece, the nurse, told me.
If you find an imbedded tick, pull it out, put it on a piece of scotch tape, and tape it to a calendar on the date you extracted it. If you get symptoms, take the tick with you to the doctors appointment, along with the date (or take the whole calendar!).
When I found the “rosy ring” on the back of my leg last year, it was a one pill treatment. Of course, the tick was long gone by then.
This will be an interesting year, that’s for sure!

No. Not yet.
Congrats on the big 5K! 😀

WOW! That takes some dedication!
Or lunacy!
Either way…CONGRATS!! 😀
Linda found one on her this morning and hadn’t been outside!
Not sure where she got THAT from! 🙄 😳
I am up to 9 in 3 trips this last week. No big ones… just the tiny “period at the end of a sentence” size. Linda’s makes 10, like the true hitch hiker it was.
Mind you, I don’t mind power trails, if I’m in the mood. I dislike unmaintained caches!
IMHO, the local West Bend cachers may be concerned that they may not get “repeat customers” for the Ca$h Bash if there aren’t new caches each year, OTHER THAN the 50+ put out by the Bash Hiding Committee. It is a valid concern if cachers are spending 3 days in your community.
However, if all they find each year OTHER THAN the 50+ WBCB hides are a bunch of P/G caches, they could tire of those, as well.I do agree that COs should maintain there own caches, and not assume that others will tend to the caches needs. I believe cache maintenance is expected in the “Guidelines for Hiding a Geocache” section on GC, is it not?
I carry some “spare parts” in the spirit of the hunt, and am glad to help maintain caches other than my own.But don’t assume I will fix your P/G cache. It’s kinda like holding the remote, and asking you to get up and change the channel for me!
Welcome! Plenty of “hardcore” cachers down that way! 🙂
WTG! 🙂
Thank you for the info. That might explain the higher number of Lonely Caches in that area, too. A bit of a “ripple effect”.
Welcome to the 1K Klub! Great log, and good battery life in the pix! 😉
