I forgot! I looked on Wednesday and it was missing. ‘my bad! 😈
Be sure to report back on where you visited! 😀
The Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center, west of Ashland on Cty.G, off of Hwy. 13.
Timeless Timber, in Ashland.
Bad River Casino, east of Ashland.
Taking Hwy. 13 along Lake Superior to Ashland/Superior is a nice ride. Small port towns like Cornicopia, Port Wing, Herbster, and Bayfield are nice distractions on the drive.
And I hope you like trees, cuz the roadsides are full of them! 😉
I think -cheeto- is close.
The difference is “field logs” versus ” logging it at home”. Punching in a “Found it” in the field, to some cachers, means they can move ahead without looking back.
If requirements aren’t met, delete it! Your requirements had to be approved by geoaware. If they gave the nod on your EC conditions, there is no reason a cacher can’t fulfill them.
The new EC in Stevens Point I did last week was very interesting. I wasn’t sure if I got ALL the answers right, but it made me think and I enjoyed the area. It was worth a nice log and some pix. The other cachers that found it the same day logged “TFTC”, but may have commented to the CO in the e-mail message needed for verification of the answers to the questions.
We only have 1 EC, thanks to Lostby7, and some harrassment from a Minnesota cache-monkey! I always enjoyed the photos and was disappointed when that was no longer required.
Oh, well…
T&B…if you contacted them to remedy the situation, you did more than was necessary as an EC CO. No response? Hit “Delete”!
Welcome! You’ve logged on to the right spot! 😀
Meet some cachers here, and check out some Event Caches to meet others face-to-face! 8)
“Do or do not…there is no ‘try'”!
WTG on 1.2K! 8)
WTG on 2K! 😀
Watch for your 2K Klub Valet Parking Pass in a mail box near you! 😉
A “Chirp” cache will be 5*, since special equipment is needed for finding it.
There is one out CJ’s way that is a Chirp, and 2 by Utely Quarry near Fairwater.‘Can you hear me now’ is a Traditional. Not a keyholder, but a magnet is involved!
You guys could meet at 4 Mile House or Bud’s Riverside and close the deal! Your only 5 miles apart! 😀
There is still time to Submit last monthes LCG finds, according to the rules, MB. They change the list after 5-7 days, as a LCG player has 7 days to post their submissions…thus the word “sniping”! 😉
If the cache is an older placement, like “Belles Cache”, which is in a SNA, temporay maintenance would be nice, rather than losing a grandfathered placement.
We helped out on an unresponsive CO’s cache for 1 year, then requested the Archive. I guess 12 monthes is long enough to wait!
Google ‘geocaching.com/adopt’. You’ll need the GC # and the EXACT spelling of the caching name of the adopter. They will receive a Yes/No e-mail for adoption once you submit the request.
We’ve asked cachers to adopt, and have had cachers ask us for adoptions. Only the CO can submit the official request.
Good luck! 🙂
I don’t know, CJ. Not everyone goes yakkin’, but we all put gas in our car!
(new reality show…”What Would You Do For A Candy Bar?!”)
We get alot of laughs in Fondy! 😆
Wonder what would have happened if he was trying to get a “pipe-shaped object” out of his tank?!
“CALL THE BOMB SQUAD!!!” 😮
I guess the Marshfield Bomb Squad got to stretch their legs a few days ago, too, according to “Wisconsin Outdoor Fun”.
So if that’s your cache in Wildwood Park, along the walking trail, shaped like a pipe, you may have a NM log soon! 😯
