Always good to see your smilies from all across Wisconsin! 8)
The actual trail should be OK. But none of the caches are ON the trail, and getting wet and muddy could be an issue when climbing up or sliding down the embankments along the corridor.
There are very few skeeters now. That could change in a few weeks.Your call!
Sounds nasty!
Be careful this weekend, since your natural immune system is being stressed already. Even a skeeter bite could react more than usual!
We just picked up 20 key chains at a garage sale for .10@. Gold chain with a polished agate on the fob. We’re always looking for something useful to leave.
And DJ is right…TBs are not tradable swag. They are for moving! 🙂WTG, Brian!
If you were using a GPS, we would be congratulating you on 8K!
But INATN. Right? 😉
Would it be possible to have 2 groups of Lonely Caches?
You could sort them by stars for D/T or by how long it has been since a cache was found.A Novice Group for new LCG players? And an Expert Group for those with more than 1 year experience?
It would give 2 different award groups for the LCG Event, too, which might increase attendance.Just some “salt” to stimulate more thought to keeping quality caches in Wisconsin!
Just toss it at our mail box on North Main in Rosendale. For that matter, any mail box will do! 8)
The advice that my niece (the nurse) tells me is, “If you find a tick when you get home, put it on a small piece of scotch tape, and put the tape (and tick) on your wall calender. If you get symptoms later, you have the tick for identification, as well as the date you found it.”
But I agree with the “imbedded only” tick contact. If you kill a skeeter before it bites you, you don’t itch much!
By the way, disposing of a live tick outside your home doesn’t necessarily solve the problem. A match in an ash tray or on a plate insures that the tick doesn’t return. If your averse to killing it, drive a few miles from home and drop it off.
‘And you may have a tick or 2 in your vehicle that fell off on the drive home. I’ve found them in the car days after caching!Just sayin’… 🙂
I’ll be happy to meet you near the Horicon Marsh area with a snack or 2! 8)
I’m happy to share some more pizza with them at any Event!
But I don’t want to see Tait fall in a spring hole in the middle of February!
Just 2 of the 22,000 plus memories they have made in this wacky hunting game!We salute you all! 😀
WTG x 48! 8)
I just did 2 circuits for Rosendale Biology class. Don’t even mention the permanent caches or you will have tons of maintenance!
Just put out temps and list the starting coordinate. Plenty of places to hide them in that park!Good luck and have fun! 😀
Thanks for the acknowledgement! 😀
Onward and upward, as I try to surpass Sagasu, for the first time EVER! 😉
