        I would NOT talk to the land owner! If they have a manure pit or lagoon that is leaking and flowing into a stream, the DNR or law enforcement should be contacted immediately!
        Changing the acidity in a freshwater stream can cause alot of damage downstream, especially if other farmers have grazing land that the stream runs through. Manure and urine can carry leptospirosis, which causes early miscarriages in cattle.

        Doing nothing will cause further problems in the future!

          I’m speculating that it’s some kids that found the Pickle Cache and muggled the 2 Trackables from that, saw the website on the tag and watched the site for nearby drops. It could be a cacher, too. Or a visitor from out of state that hasn’t logged anything yet (I hope).

          Time will tell.

            They may not survive, anyway. Sometimes wildlife adapts to human care-taking, but usually, the stress of being removed from nature is fatal. I am 0 for everything on wildlife babies!

                    If we get a TFTC only, I glance at the # of finds by the logger. Less than 100, so what. More than 500, I wonder if there’s an issue with the cache.
                    But 1/1’s are necessary for the impaired. Heck, Chanter is blind, and did some 3/3s recently!

                    Any log tells me that the container is present and I need not worry about it being missing or muggled.

                        It doesn’t seem right that trackables go missing. Lose enough $10-$13 coins, and you soon see the sense in laminated copies, at least as an owner! 😡

                                The Wild Goose Trail has a Bookmark List.

                                If each trail had a current Bookmark List, the cacher could Google any starting point they want, and choose the stopping point, as well. Making the Lists would take some time.
