Thanks for the salutations! Onward and upward! 😀
It must almost be time for the craphas (snow). This topic comes up every 12 monthes!
We Attribute 3 ways:1) If there’s a snowflake, there is a 90% chance of finding it in 2 feet of snow.
2) If the snowflake is listed and crossed out, there is a 90% chance that it is at or below ground level and buried in winter with 3″ or less of snow.
3) No Winter Attribute – 50/50 on finding it with 2 feet of snow on the ground. You might as well Attribute for deep snow up front. You might get a dusting of snow in Janesville and 5 feet in Hayward! The snow flake is only used 1/3 of the year, but that’s what it’s for!
Or are they?! 😕
Congrats on your water toting cache milestone! 😀
3K @ 2K…OK!! 😀
Congrats! Read the log now! There was lightning when we found it! 😀
I’ll be doing both. Last year, I cached on Black Friday. Most deer hunters avoid a person in an orange coat that ISN’T carrying a gun. Most likely a game warden. Who else would be crazy enough to be out in the woods?! Other than a cacher!
But I DO respect the public hunting areas. There are some crazies that go out there!
If your caching, be very, very aware of your surroundings! ❗
I think that the fact that we have 4 seasons here (unlike, say, Hawaii) will always keep a CO guessing on whether to change the *s or not. In winter, some will get easier…some will get harder. The D/T isn’t a pure science, just a judgement call. I just changed the *s on a 2 year old cache, based on the number of DNFs and comments on how difficult it was.
Not sure about the answer on the original question, but I believe GR has the correct answer from the start.
Hopefully, T&B will pipe in, since they’ve been “well-rounded” 4 times.4088.5. More than 1000 points in 3 weeks. Those tail feathers tickled my ear quite awhile ago! 😉
I had a three way once with Dave and John… 😯
My trial Zip run looked OK!
Congrats on 17K!! 😀
