I still like the idea of ‘sentinel’ caches. You must have (x) number of DNFs on your profile to log the cache as Found. But that is an ALR and not approved by GC.

Any options on that line of thought?

Ooooh, THAT park. Yup, Lions club owns it. Tried that one 3 years ago. Wasn’t sure who to contact for permission. Your mom might know. Place one there! It is closer than the other little town near Minn. Junction!

        Nice FTF this morning! 😉

Yup! Stacie is resurrected and out caching again. It only took 3 1/2 days for someone to snag it. Now, to watch for their first placement…

              Yes, I will!

After you place it, could you drive south a couple miles and get the FTF on my new cache in Minnesota Junction? Three days and no seekers!

A city park is considered a public area. Place the cache and submit it for approval. If it is a controlled area, the Reviewer will notify you. There are some counties that have restrictions in parks. They are listed in the “Hiding a Cache” section of these Forums.

If a Reviewer would like to comment or correct, that would help here.

You may want to pm Seldom/Seen. He tried that with an ammo box but the batteries would die in the cold weather. He may have some good insight!

WTG! I agree! Hide some up in the Valley! Your birds eye hides would be closer than some COs hides that USE a GPS! (We won’t mention any names, but I hear you can use a cell phone for coordinates that get you within .1 mile of accuracy!) 😀

Remember, Dave was under the weather for quite awhile, cuz he passed the bug to me, then I passed it on to our computer! 😯

If your referring to new cachers, I e-mail them a “Congratulations on your first finds” message and mention the WGA, as well. Half answer, half don’t.
It is possible that newbies don’t realize that a message can be sent on their profile page. I didnt know I HAD a profile page for a few monthes. Wondered how cachers knew our e-mail address!
Hope the greeting doesn’t scare people off!

If your talking about DATING, then it depends on how “hungry” you are! 😉

In my research on this cache, the workers at the mill preferred smoking corn silk! Of course, the hemp leaves had fallen off in the fields monthes before!
Never got around to smokin’ the happy hay myself. Smelled it enough times, even recently, while caching in Two Rivers! 😯
