Check out the new cache in Bessemer in the UP…(GC2E9JR). I searched for the old BLACKJACK cache there. Looks like Maverick & Dad found the Archived container. The OLD cache was on the west side of the falls and was quite a thrill to get that close to the roar! (“Twin Falls Cave” by Port Wing is interesting. If you read our log from 2 years ago, you never know WHAT you’ll run into when your out caching!)
The new cache at Blackjack is on the east side. You may want to read the logs for info.
Potato and Foster Falls are on our mental “return as often as possible” list! It’s hard to go wrong on ANY northern Wisconsin waterfall cache.

We got our 2 today, as well. Activated one for Discovery. I’ll find a use for #2, too. Very nice design! The Committee did a good job from concept to completion.

The best recipe I’ve heard of calls for very little goose breast. I’ve also heard of goose breast stew which, again, calls for very little goose breast.

I think I see a pattern here…

I preferred the AmericInn, too. I stayed there in the winter once and someones car horn kept blowing for 15-20 minutes at a time! Come to find out, IT WAS MINE!! The horn had shorted out and would blow for no reason. I drove down to the Holiday station at 3 AM and the nice attendant pulled the wires off. But my ears were ringing for a looooong time! 😯

When he awakens after surgery, the doctor proclaims, ” I have good news and bad news.”
