I think the ‘satelite’ option on the cache page map is interesting. I zoomed in to one of our WSQs and GZ is in a row of pines. You can actually see which tree, as well as which SIDE of the tree, the container is on. If it wasn’t a micro, you would almost see the container!
This should make Muggle B’s GPSless life easier! 😉
Had the good fortune to see Muggle B caching “naked” in the Valley… “naked” referring to the non-GPS form of caching. We had a wet time at that cache, his first FTF. Glad to see you found the WGA website, Brian.
WELCOME!! 😀
Welcome to the Klub! 😀
Your Klub Key is in the mail. 😉
I usually don’t click on those looooooooong links!
But I saw him…CONGRATS TO FLAT JACK, TOO!! 😀
A big CONGRATS on the milestone! Wished I could have come along. I’ve been known to do “retreads” on occassion! 😉
It seems that each time KVR-HILO is found, it gets nominated for COTM. Since I didn’t see Flat Jack in any pictures, he better nominate this cache once again, as there is never a bad review.
I was worried that the group left you behind! Glad to see you survived. An amazing accomplishment for all of you! 😀
Glad everyone survived a looooong day!
CONGRATS, CJ!! 😀
Thanks for the salutations everyone. 😀
Looking forward to the next 100, as well as 3K! 8)
I think a certain “probationary” period before a cache can be nominated is in order…say, 6 monthes. This would give a cross section of cachers time to find a good cache to nominate.
Nominating the newest “Flavor of the Month” is not very accurate. If it’s THAT good, it will still be THAT good 6 monthes later, when more cachers have found it.
Limiting a COTM nomination to # of finders pretty much rules out Northern Wisconsin, where some of the most scenic caches are located!Just my 2 cents worth.
WTG!! 😀
WTG!! 8)
Congrats on 2K!! 😀
I’m sure the Fox Valley crew would welcome you, especially at “The Old Man/Takes Shelter”, a COTM near Appleton. Still on our top 2 list! 😀
Parfrey’s Glen is nice, but I haven’t been back since the flood of ’08. ❓
“Sparkly for Sweech” is a good cahe name, too! 😉
Unfound cache circles:
0-10 miles – 2
10-20 miles – 21
20-30 miles – 200 (looks like Appleton is less than 30 miles away!)
Those 2 will be bothering me all night! 😡
Don’t wear shorts! 😕
