(GC182D3) Sagasus Sinister Semantic Search has 30 watchers.
Just watched the 10 o’clock update…
The trucks that fell through the ice were LOADED DUMP TRUCKS!! They were hauling boulders about 3 miles out into the lake, for a man made reef.
You couldn’t pay me enough to try that. And a family is grieving now.
By now, some of you have heard of the 2 trucks that fell through the ice on Lake Winnebago. One driver died, the other was rescued because he was wearing a life vest, which was required by the company he was driving for. I, and I’m sure many people, were surprised by this! But it happens, unfortunately.
With the warming and freezing the last few days, it is hard to predict what is safe, and what is not.
Be careful!
WTG, Frizz! A milestone/Miracle Mile day…all in one! 😀
Ask CodeJunkie!
He got a winning scratch off lottery ticket! Not a bad idea for a FTF prize. The cost is consistant, and you never know…
But I agree with the figure of 10% of FTF’s we have found have a prize. From geocoins to cash. I occassionally put a prize in caches, too.
Congrats! 😀
(your right…no Biology 101 in THAT link)
Alot of memories for 2K!
CONGRATS!! 😀
LCG Event at the Dells! 😀
Congrats on the 1800, Frizz!! 😀
Good to see your smiling face, as the sunshine was a bit scarce in the marsh! 8)
I approve of who you chose to include in the milestone picture. 😉
“There and Back Again- A Geocachers Tale”.
We made it! A nice group to make the march out to GZ. This is my 3rd time out, and by far the easiest. The heavy snow had pushed the cattails down, and they were bent toward the island. Made for good trail breaking by zoesbrother. Once we knew the ice was safe,I stayed back with sloughfoot to let the first timers lead the way.
Good friends, good marshmallows, good day!
Thanks to those that showed up for this 90 minute outing! 😀(Saw Roosevelt, didn’t see Jack!)
Looks very frosty out there! If the sun comes out, we’ll be walking in diamond-studded cattails! The craphas is settling and should firm up for a nice walk. Linda is coming later with the marshmallows! Last minute cachers are most welcome! 😀
Not very puzzling!
WTG, CJ! 😀
Muck?! We don’t need no stinkin’ muck!!
You could private message the 4 Superior members listed on the “Members List”, in the side bar. Otherwise, Barnes and Grantsburg are the next closest, and Hayward has a cacher that gets out a bit!
If you get REALLY desperate, you could check across the river, to the west. 😉
Congrats, 2boyz! And only 6 minutes behind you! Good to see you at the Final Quest. Wonder whats in the little treasure chest? 😕
