I don’t like cut/paste, but when I read the same log, witch the same 5 misspelleded wurds, it maks me laff! 😆
😀 FOUND IT!! 😀
I guess we better start triple checking our hide coordinates! Someone might take the wrong pink flamingo! 😯
137 DNF logs, of which 62 were found later. Net 75 DNF’s.
If we DNF, we post it, and wait until some other cachers attempt it. If it is found, and we go back and DNF, we log it DNF, usually noting, “Strike 2”! Three strikes and we PAF!
Why not let the owner know that there tough hide is REALLY tough! 😯If we need to cut our search short, we post a note with the reason, to alert future cache seekers what to stay on the alert for. Could be a nearby muggle, bees, PI, or maybe just weather.
Logging the DNF, and not noting any special circumstances, doesn’t help the cache owner.
If we see 3 DNF’s in a row on our own caches, we disable the cache, until we can check on it.
Thanks to the cachers that send us e-mails, telling us how to count to 3!
I was hoping to put out a “Sentry” cache in the near future. You can only log a smiley after you have DNF’d 50 caches. Or 1 smiley for every 50 DNF’s you have.
But would that be considered an ALR? ❓
We’ve discovered 4 by accident.
My father found one about 4 years ago, while doing volunteer work in a Dodge County Park. It is still active.
We have found them while looking for hide spots. Because of the .1 mile proximity rule, we have found WPs or Finals for puzzle caches, since their actual coordinates aren’t posted.
And you better believe we post the ‘Found It’ log! 😉WTG! 😀
I thought I heard one of those cheesy little bike bells go by yesterday! Congrats on .9K! 😀
Welcome, neighbors! If all your hides are like Chirko, you’ll have a great future in geocaching! 😀
If your going to Ashland, there are quite a few artesian well ECs there.
Also, NGLVC TB Hotel (GCQ1VD), at the Visitors Center, west of Ashland. Take a look at the Visitors Center for Great Lakes history. No admission charged, but donations accepted.
Almost Heaven (GCH12D) is a bit of a hike to St. Pete’s Dome, but if the weather is good, the view won’t disappoint.
Congrats! Nice pix!
Congrats! Nice sweatshirt! 😀
Hooray for 2K!! 😀
Congrats!
Hope you are very “Pomp” in your “Circumstance”! 😀
