I got my worst injury 3 weeks ago, in Oklahoma.
Found some rusty 4-barb wire hidden in some vines that I chose to “hop” through. More wire than vines!
Got a tetanus shot the next day, but the scar on the back of my right leg will be a ‘lifer’! I don’t care for tatoos, so this scar is my caching brand. We checked on the final about 2 weeks ago, and it is still there. The park people did some construction that changed two of the WPs. Hopefully Alex will get them up again! It is a challenging hide!
Over 550 signed up so far. This could get interesting! 😯
We carry a few strange things in the car that are probably not “survival gear”!
1) 75 feet of nylon rope (it was 100).
2) Camo, brown, and silver duct tape.
3) Matchstick holders (they keep disappearing), no matches!
4) Little zip-lock baggies.
5) Digital camera (ALRs are OK).
6) 3 pairs of dry socks.I occassionally carry my son in the car, for “Evil Monkey” caches! But I guess he would be considered “survival gear”! 😀
GC.com down again… 🙁
Nice bookends! 😉
Great when a milestone is at an Event! jjcool719 got 1300, and we got 1600.
Congrats to all! 😀

Just for the record…
Lake flies do not bite, because they don’t have a mouth.
But if you squish one, they smell aweful! 😯
So if your camping this weekend, and the little buggers are present, they will sing you to sleep with the humming of their wings!
Sounds romantic, right? 😉
Congrats to the first cachers we ever met face-to-face! 😀
Even more lake flies than yesterday!! 😯 😯
