The dreaded “White Death” comes again! 😯
Welcome! Tell us a little about yourself.
Where are you from? How did you get started on this addiction? ❓Talked to jjcool about his profile. He found a duplicate entry from last summer and deleted it. That’s what set the chain reaction in motion, rippling down through the found cache history. He has been spending the evening repairing the damage and hopes to have it corrected soon! 🙂
I’m pretty sure it’s CacheStats that is used for his profile. If more than one cache was found on a milestone find day, the order will be reversed now, and the milestone will automatically show differently.
And you are right about the logs on the same day of publication. West Bend Cash Bash is proof enough!
Just a heads up to anyone else that used profile info for puzzle caches to recheck the #’s.Bugsmasher’s tip is well taken.
That’s why I believe if parking is not obvious, or even if it is, posting coordinates for where to park is important. Reminds me of driving around the mall parking lot for 15 minutes to find a closer spot! An extra 1/4 mile to walk might save a cacher from being towed.
Still don’t do much night caching. This state is too beautiful not to see it in the daylight!Should you be wearing those when you iron on the 1K? 😯
Thanks for the transparency! It’s what the membership is looking for.
Congrats on 2K in less than a year! And doing some Cache Rescues, too! 😀

Congrats! That’s our next one…
Congrats on 7500, and WELCOME TO FOND DU LAC!!

Pick your GPS? 😯
Grandpa always said, “Don’t pick anything, unless it’s your seat in the theater!” 😀
While out hiding caches this weekend, I noticed alot of trees with the bark gnawed off. Murphy’s Law says, “Your tree will probably die, because you want it to live!” The ones I saw in the Great Outdoors will probably live because no one will notice if they die.
I believe there was a thread last year about “girdling” a tree to kill it. The layer of the tree just under the bark is what sends water and nutrients further up in the tree. If this layer is completely compromised, the tree dies.
So it also depends on how deep the little nibblers went. Wait and see is most likely the best thing to do now.1K @ Y… Congrats! 😀
So you got “Stoned” at 1K, huh? Congratulations!! 😀
