I have to agree that not everyone should have to be a member to play. I liked the fact that I could enjoy this without paying. For me I paid for my membership when my dad got interested. Being able to scroll the maps are a great boon for my planning trips for the two of us. Also as I said before anything I enjoy this much I don’t feel bad paying $30 for. Of course talk to me again if I get the new house and mortgage.

Hey EnergySaver you think that we scared her off?

I also could plant a few just for your use and pull them up again after you are done. The problem I have there is where to put them. If you do work for a bigger company there might be land that they own that we could use? Just a few ideas to throw out there.

Ok, as far as I know, which is very limited, I do not know of any groups that organize outings. It would be a few individules that would volunteer their help. Which is why I would like to help. Now for the team building that I would be able to help get a few ideas going. I could see a group of people without a GPSr with the problem of finding a cache. The challenge would start by making a list of things that they would need to accomplish the task. I will make a jump here that you work for the Kohler Co. I know of three find close by the plant that would be great to get started. What is your take of this?

I am from the Kohler area. I would be willing to help you an this. The only problem I have is that I work second shift. But put that aside for a while, there can be alot to due before then that I would be willing to help with. It all depends on what you are looking for. So what kind of experence are you looking for? Example you looking at problem solving, the adventure, reading maps, using compases, or just getting out for a quick hunt and find. I am shur that I could help you get started on your way. Just give me a note here.

Thank you everyone for responding. I hope to get a new one set this weekend. I know just the place. I will have to just wait and see how difficult/easy it will be. I think you all will get a kick out of it.

Well it turned out to only be a bad morning. If I had known that I would have planned differently. So I spent the day doing housework. Got to get it ready to sell.

Just looked into the Oriental Trading Company web site and did not find any good hits. I found a few things that I might have to get but nothing really good.

Wow, After I read this log I am glad for this person that Geochaching can be a solo sport. She keeps this up she won’t make any friends. Of course she probably doesn’t care about friends in the first place. I have to feel sorry for this one. People have just lost a respect for others. I am not surprised to find out that they are too cowardly to hide their own chache. Might not be able to take their own heat?

I like the idea of premium finds. I started this to see if I liked it. Now that I know I enjoy it I am glad to pay the $2.50 per month to play. This is the best bargain for a group that I have found so far. You all do a great job. But there will allways be the few that will not pay at all. In my experence it is usally a few of these that are the “bad apples”. I have not come across any paid members in any group that want to spoil things for other people. But I am only one person out of many so I these observations might not be correct.

I am going to have to try this one next time I go camping.

Well since the site has been archived and disabled I am thinking about a new cache there. I will look at the site this weekend (I hope) and decide then. I just have to figure out how to use the placement form then.

Ok metal detectors. If you want to lug them around, I say go ahead. I can’t see that they would help you that much though. Some of the caches are not metal. Or they are in places that using a metal detector could be a problem. Just my say on them.
