Hey cheezehead,
Any idea when the draft is taking place? It’s looking more and more like Beckham won’t be playing much.
Mmmm Pizza. Mmmm Geochat. Mmmm Geocaching. WHAT??? Tickets on the windshield @ 9:15pm??? Where’s Ranger Boy when you need him?
Great time. Thanks for getting us together and filling my belly.
I’ll try and make an appearance as well. But unlike Uncle Fun, I’ll show up once.
I figured if I headed south you wouldn’t see me. Going to try a Hotdogs recommendation down in Arkansas tomorrow. We’ll definitely take pictures. Heat and humidity are pretty bad down here right now. Still not hot enough to keep us out of the woods. 🙂
Dave’s right. Although, now that I think about it, maybe Seth was trying to impress Marc and I with his Tarzan swinging abilities down in Racine. And now I hear there are naked pictures of Seth wearing only an Amish hat! 😯 Honeybunny needs a new name.
Definitely a unique spot for a cache. Dad and I both enjoyed this one. The porcupine residence was an added bonus. You can’t miss it. Look for the 2ft pile of PP(Porcupine Poop). Looks like someone dumped a 20lb bag of dog food.
Zuma – You probably only saw the “Inner City” part of it. To get the “Surprise”, you have to go at night. 😯

The reality is that they are too busy this time of year to do much of anything other than their normal role.
That’s because they’re too busy trying to figure out if they can increase their pension with a lucrative buyback.
1. Yes, did all 18.
2. Of course, was one of the lucky winners.
3. Spent many nights at folks place and ate many meals in BJ & St. Germain. In fact, we used one of the deals on the punch card at a local BJ eatery and they were confused about the offer.
4. Ditto what TE and notmuch had to say.
We really enjoyed the historical caches with photo’s and history.
How about inviting a few more COC’s (Eagle River, Woodruff, Minoqua) to participate?
For safety concerns, please don’t put a cache near the Hodag. Thanx

Hey–wanna share a gas card?? I’ll even pick them up (lol)
I gave the gas cards to my dad. He was my partner in crime on that trip. We found all 18 and my favorite memory was “Gum Drop Island” on Trout lake. We landed the boat, and by the time I got back from parking the car and trailer, dad was taking on water. 😯 First time out and we forgot the plug. DOH.
Looks like an excellent choice. The pictures from mama-splash, imjedi & trekkin’ and birdin’ were great. Had trouble locating from natloh2’s log, so here’s a link: GC145QH KVR – HILO
Now after Dave mentioned the Buxley maps, I’m not sure which “old” maps you’re referring to. The geocaching map I was talking about is listed under the various online maps. This is right above the cache logs and looks like:
For online maps…
Geocaching.com Maps
Geocaching.com Google Map
Google Maps
MapQuest
Microsoft MapPoint
Yahoo Maps
Rand McNally
Topozone
Terraserver
Tiger Census MapsI saw this in todays Milwaukee Journal:
Congressmen may try to block refinery expansion
Two Illinois congressmen may try to block BP Plc’s $3 billion expansion of the biggest Midwest refinery if the company doesn’t drop plans to dump more ammonia into Lake Michigan, the source of drinking water for 10 million people. BP received permission from state regulators in June to increase ammonia discharges as part of a four-year expansion of its lakeside plant in Whiting, Ind., about 20 miles from downtown Chicago. The London-based company is installing new equipment so it can process cheaper Canadian crude and boost fuel output by 15%. Ammonia discharges from the plant will rise 54% to 1,584 pounds a day, U.S. Reps. Mark Kirk and Daniel Lipinski said in a letter this week to BP Chief Executive Officer Tony Hayward. Kirk is a Republican, and Lipinski is a Democrat. BP, Marathon Oil Corp. and Chevron Corp. are expanding refineries as rising demand for gasoline, jet fuel and diesel in the world’s biggest energy market lifts oil-processing margins to records.
I’ll give it a shot. Don’t know much about soccer, but what the hey. Do you know which team Beckham is playing for this year? Isn’t it the LA Galatics or something?
