You broke the icons in the “Recent Logs” page as well. Way to go benny. 😀

Our division is takin’ it easy. Saving our best for the playoffs. At least that’s what I hope is going on. My team seems to have fallin’ asleep the last few weeks. Could be an early exit this year if things don’t pick up.

Did you see Furballs RB’s this week? He going out with a bang. Who’s going to take that 13th spot? Big Jim or Scrappy? It all rides on the Big Jim vs. VG showdown on Monday Night Football. If VG can get by Big Jim tonight, I think he wins the division and gets the bye.

    Or possibly a souvenir icon.

I recalled seeing the creed before. Without my seeing eye dog, “Search Engine”, it would have been one more unanswered question piled on top of the mountain. As to particulars, I never can remember who, why, where, what, when. I’ve had my moments. The other day I was at the ATM machine and for the life of me, I couldn’t remember the PIN that I’ve entered 1000’s of times. The phone rings and I have a 2 minute conversation with my dad. Slide my card again and the PIN comes to me just like that.

Sorry for steering the topic off course. There’s a need to heed, read the creed.

I knew I saw this somewhere before. And it looks like you did to Gwyn. 🙂 Link

I also noted that many of the Cemetery caches have ‘WSQ’ in their name. What is the story behind that?

Here’s some history on how WSQ came about: http://wi-geocaching.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=5421&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

I was up by two points this week and kungfuhippie only had defense left to score. Washington gives up 59 points and he still gets nine points for defense. I know that the points he got were for kick off return yardage. Well if someone gives up 59 points they are going to have huge return yardage. Next year maybe only have it be punt return yardage only, because the other team is punting because of the defensive stop on third down.

VG – There’s a flaw in how you thought you lost. If you take away return yards altogether, you would eliminate 5 points from your team. You would have lost by 3 before Monday nights game even started.

If we look at just punt return yards (I don’t think Yahoo allows a commissioner to separate the two), you had 36 and KFH had 6. Converting that to FF points would have given you +1. Certainly not the difference in your matchup. Face it. You got your ass whooped. Kind of like the one you put on me in week 8. 😀

I never cared for the return yards. Last year Cheesy added it and the best receivers were the guys that received punts and kicks (Cribbs, Harvin, D. Jackson, Amendola, Stephens-Howling). That’s pretty much how I won last year. This year it was watered down enough so that those players weren’t big impact players. But it still can effect the Defenses. Look at 4 of the top 5 this year. Arizona, Washington, Detroit and Seattle. Guess what? Those 4 are in the top 6 for return yards. Now based on their records, I don’t think many would say they’re great defensive teams.

    How about this:

    Baltimore – Points allowed 165 (6th best) Return Yards 823 Fantasy 62pts
    Arizona – Points allowed 243 (4th worst) Return Yards 1380 Fantasy 143pts

That’s why it’s called Fantasy. As it stands for this year, it is the scoring system we have and everyone should be aware of it. Everyone has the opportunity to pick up a bad defense to score points. 😆

    WOW!

    I can’t believe I have the #1 team.

    Time to pop the bubble. 😈 ➡ ➡ ➡

The Fantasy Football Gods were in complete control and wanted to send a few messages:

    1. Johnny, your team isn’t that great. Watch the smack.
    2. Hey Fitzgerald, Remember what a touchdown feels like?
    3. They’re hoping you buy a “I beat JC” t-shirt because it’s not pretty seeing a shirtless VG. Contact CacheARRRRRS. I think he bought one.
    4. Cheesball may run the league, but we’re not letting him beat Sunshine.
    5. We can’t do much with Furfools team.
    6. We’re going to let the Nano Haters lead the league before we burst his bubble.
    7. Sorry SirC, but it would look too weird if we let Peyton score 96 tonight. Expect to see the Wild Siders on the TOYOTA “Greatest Fantasy Victor” this week.

Milwaukee’s greatest asset is the lake. Here’s a few that are along Lincoln Memorial Drive(Lake Dr.) and downtown. A 2.5 mile drive along the lake that has some great views.

GC22K8K Our Bookshelf – Puzzle, not too tough. A great park. Be sure to check out the posted coordinates as it takes you across a cool bridge to an old metal light house.

GC24ADJ Blue Wave Beach – Earth Cache. Milwaukee has some serious storm water run off issues and this cache is a great example of what’s being done to protect the lake

GC1ZQ2N Battleship – C5 – Great piece of architecture. You might think it’s a fancy light house. Read the sign.

GC28KGF Old Glory Flyin’ High at the Lake – Another nice view along the lake.

GC238MP Port Royal – Hopefully it’s not too windy and cold when you look for this one.

GC6A39 Bonita vista al mar – Virtual Cache – A great view

GC16NRV Calatrava Cache – Talk about architecture? This place is a must see.

GC14Z32 What in the World Happened? – A great view from one of the newest state parks (man made – it wasn’t here when I was a kid)

GC1TM4G Gathering Waters – A great view of the Summerfest grounds from here.

GC1ZQ3T Battleship – F2 – Another great view of the lake behind the Marcus Amphitheater

GCMWZH Pompeii, Wisconsin?? – Some interesting Old Milwaukee history.

GCQJP5 Jones Island Cache – Some more great Milwaukee history that touches on the cultural diversity here.

GC1FK3M Hillclimber – Harley Davidson museum. Lots of history here.

GC13XF3 Aqua Spot – Could have been an interesting earth cache. Great info here at this watershed exhibit.

GC137JG Gertie and the Bridge War – Gertie likes visitors

GC9EED The Joan of Arc Chapel – Virtual cache. Really old history on the Marquette campus. Touch the stone.

GC2BPCQ ZH53233-01 City Of Milwaukee – Easy find. Challenging retrieval in an urban environment.

The other 2 caches fit in perfectly with this list. If you have more time, there’s plenty of caches near the ones listed.

I think we both know the outcome of the championship would have been much different had I realized it was 2 weeks long instead of the customary 1 week. The second Monday was an eye opener and caught us both off guard. I would never have let go of my pitching had I known that. Chalk it up to another lesson learned.

Fantasy Baseball has the same problem as Fantasy Football in that the fantasy playoffs are held during a period when teams do weird stuff to their lineups. Baseball lines up their pitching for the playoffs and rests both pitchers and hitters. Football rests guys when they’ve clinched or have home field advantage. A good Fantasy team can look like junk come the fantasy playoffs. Mouthman can manage all he wants, but a lot of it comes down to luck. I try to position my team so I have the best chance at the most luck. 😀
