Is this accurate? Those locations are used to build indexes for bearing and distance.

To have my home and other important locations in my exports, I created waypoints of type ‘other’ and they are treated like any other cache waypoint (they even get cache pages).

As far as macros go, they are still too weak for me. I figured I’d let other users work with Clyde to make them robust. Until then, I’m going to let my fingers do the walking.

Texas has been notified. I considered asking St Louis to change but I figured just changing the text would be easier.

I received a reply from the selector master that the work is done and I verified that the selector now has a Wisconsin (WGA) option.

I emailed ‘Texas’ and gave them the same html snippet (for the small logo) that is found under ‘spread the word’ on the WGA main menu.

I saw that they ‘reference’ the logos and not copy them so if we need to change it is still under our control.

I suspect he works for the company selling it. SPAM, but on topic SPAM.

It looks very new, only supports (some!)Garmins and their support board is empty.

A rule of life is never to invest in serial number 1 or version 1 of anything.

Yes, this is the day we Norwegians celebrate the -real- European finding of the new world and as well as the first Europeans to forget it was there.

I don’t know how this would affect my karma balance sheet, driving 60 miles in an SUV to do something environmentally positive, but I need practice finding micros — count me in.

Verizon Wireless is including Milwaukee among 14 cities where on-the-go business people can equip their laptops for a new high-speed data service that will be available anywhere in the metro area.

Verizon, the nation’s largest wireless carrier, said it already has signed up thousands of business customers in Washington, D.C., San Diego and Las Vegas, where the service was introduced over the past year under the BroadbandAccess brand name.

The service will be available starting Monday in 11 additional cities and 24 airports, including Milwaukee and Mitchell International Airport.

It must be annoying with that chain and tag hanging out.

The WGA events (my sole experience) are committee/democracy driven which is a whole lot different than the effort of a single cache-host-meister. In other words, what you as the sole organizer says, goes.

IMHO, Cheesehead Dave’s June soiree was near perfect. I would defer to him in such matters.
