Based upon past picnics and such:
    About 20+ temp hides.
You can hunt from about 9 to 5.
The picnic lunch is at noon.

Watch for the cache sheet and these boards to get the official spiel.

The state’s NEWEST(!!) highest point will be a garbage heap.

    Updated map:
    Shows WI center of population.
    Shows WGA center of population.
Shows locations of recent Picnics and Campouts.

I tried to fudge the numbers to make Ken’s house the COP so he could host the events but I am suffering a flash of integrity. It’ll soon pass.

They have set up an unrealistic schedule of 6 crossings a day. 2.5 hours per crossing. 0.5 hour turn around. Their biggest problem is getting people and cars on and off.

Car rental was right in the terminal. I rented a purple PT Cruiser, not my style, but the normal cars were out.

in reply to: When did “cache” become a verb? #1746962

According to my dictionary (Dictionary.com) the word cache comes from the French VERB cacher which means ‘to hide’.

Of course, when most of us go caching, its ‘to find’, not ‘to hide’. So the real scandal is not grammatical but semantical.

Ain’t that always da way, aina-hey?.

Have it on your computer(s). The author has made it even better in the recent release.
I just loaded my own GPSr an hour ago using a combo of my I94 filter and other filters.

The email was sent to your WGA registered address on the 6th. I’ll send it again now but double check that your WGA registered email address is correct. Send me an email ([email protected]) if you did not receive it.

Is that the final cash box or just a Waypoint?

I just got home from Pic-N-Sav. I bought a dog collar (the large size) and I don’t have a dog. But I did remove a tic by force last week. My plan is to attach said collar to my “campaign bag” which I carry while caching. I will report after field trials.

    Woof.

This camping stuff looks too hard. No food in the tents! — now thats roughing it.

I’m going to B&B it (bed and breakfast) and use napkins and showers and everything.

in reply to: Spring Turkey Hunting begins Apr14 #1746598

I’ve seen signs at some spots saying that there is no hunting after 2PM. Is that universally true or just at those posted spots???
