Please bring the box and contents to the picnic.
It would be interesting to view the contents: up close and arson-all.Click here.
cache on a stickAnother thought along these lines. If you are bringing, say potato chips, you do not need to bring enough to feed 175 people. Bring 1 or 2 bags, or 1 pan of brownies, etc. It always seems that there is food left over. Which is why I’m always one of the last to leave 😀 — but the point is some food does get wasted.
You’ll never be lost with that GPS…
Considering it’s color and size, it can be seen from space. You’ve done better than the on line documentation.
You’ve covered all the basics and did a good job of identifing where other approaches could be used. One specific comment:
I find ActiveSync directly to a directory on the PDA the more efficient means of transfer from the PC GPX or GSAK files (as opposed to dragging and droping or memory cards). How does one open an ammo box?
Color me impressed.

Uh, Jeremy, I have a this rash. Would you happen to … ?
Hiding day is always fun. I’m in.

who is doing all that shouting!Heck, sure, Ill go. I just didn’t realize it was July already.
If I were on a desert island,
and allowed just one question,
the one question I would ask is:Does mapsource make the USB connection?
If yes, the problem is with GSAK.
If no, then the problem is PC/hardware/cable.This isn’t a hint.
I didn’t ‘solve’ the puzzle, I ‘remembered’ it from a movie.PS I rewrote this several times to make sure I did not give any useful information. All my posts are similarly refined 😉
➡ Sue Black is the head of the Milwaukee Parks Dept.
➡ Ms Black used to be head of Wisconsin’s State Parks and Recreation program until she got maneuvered out.
➡ Didn’t Ms Black like the WGA when Ken Braband and Brian Jensen were talking with her about state geocaching policy way back when?
➡ Maybe there’s some leverage?
➡ Always start at the top?@GOJeepers wrote:
The coded map of Wisconsin would be great!
Here’s mine:
Produced with http://monarch.tamu.edu/~maps2/wi.htm and using the output of ‘CountyCount’.
Note that the red counties in the map above are done as example. Really.

I have a dell axim and I put 6 different pocket q’s with about 100 caches in each. and now I am trying to open all 6 pocket q’s at one time with gpx sonar is this possibles or is there no way to do it
or will I have to open each of the pocket q’s seperetlyGPX Sonar does not support a “merge” option.
CacheMate, a similar program, allows you to turn merging on and off.I am a user of GPX Sonar and I do all my blending using GSAK. I then export from GSAK one .gpx file (with ~1000 caches) that has all the caches I’ll probably need that day.
Another thought is that PQs are limited to 500 caches. Increase the number in the files you are requesting, don’t worry your PDA/GpxSonar can handle it. Maybe you don’t need 6 files where 1 will do.
Is this teaching or running an event? Size? Weekend? What is the nature of the group? Does the volunteer need to supply caches and/or GPSrs?
