I did use a Powered GPS Re-Radiating antenna a few years back in a squad car, and it worked very well.

I don’t remember the brand name though at the present time.. I will see if I can dig up some more information on it.

I have to agree, that I think this is a promotional Gimmick. I also dont’ feel that it has staying power, and would hate to see a bunch of caches placed and no one to take care of them. I will let you guys know more as I hear it.

Yes, so far from what I have seen, this has been a great series! I have only done three, I beleive, but they have been top notch. I can’t wait to be able to finish the rest of this series.

in reply to: What was your first car? #1912362

yeah, I have to agree with Mike. Those Lower GM Intake Manifold Gaskets Suck. replaced them on KS9WI’s Buick Century with a 3800 Series Two. That was no fun….

    Congrats Guys!!!!!

in reply to: What was your first car? #1912358

    Oh jeez……

    I have had a few.

First Car was a 1988 Subaru GL-10 turbo. Five Speed All Wheel Drive.. yes, it would Take Mustangs/Camaro’s/Firebirds… At least across Intersections, and up into Second gear…..

Second Car was a 1986 Pontiac Firebird Formula. 305 With 700R4 4 speed automatic. This car was a Major Pooch…. Honestly, the Subaru GL-10 Would of stroked it… That was until the 454 Big Block was put in… Worked great for about two months until the Transmission decided it would rather not shift into second, or third…. Would go first to Overdrive…

Third car was a 1990 Mustang GT 5.0L 5 Speed Stick Hatch Back.
Bought Cheap to put the drive train into a 1992 Mustang LX Hatch Back that came with a 2.3L 4 Cylinder and a Dog-a-Matic Transmsision.

Fourth Car was said 1992 Mustang LX Notch Back. 2.3L Auto, switched to 5.0L 5 Speed with 3.73 Gears.

Fifth Car was a 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. 4.0L 5 Speed manual. Still have this jeep with 210,000 on the Clock. Just broke in…

The Two Speed Automatic was the PowerGlide. They can be made to Handle quite a bit of Horsepower……

    Any Classic cars are cool..

I think the Neatest Car I ever drove was a 1971 Buick Wild Cat…. 455 High Output Stage II Motor. Thing was a Tank. When you rolled down the windows, there was nothing from the A-Pilliar, to the Back C-Pilliar.

Once in High School, we had 9 People in said car, and stroked a Mid 90’s Camaro… When you would punch the Gas, the car would torque to the Left, and Just stay there till you lifted your foot off the gas…. that thing would not spin the tires though… Drum brakes, and way to heavy….

The neat thing about the WildCat though, is that in the original Dealer sales literature, there was a line that said that this car was meant for Mom to take to the Grocery Store Every night of the week, and for Junior to take the car out on Friday Nights and Blow his friends into the weeds……

    Ah, Gotta love cars….
