Well, the two items that you have taken off of the table, are ones that were requested by various agencies. That is why they were completed. I do beleive that the Highway cleanup, will also be beneficial in getting out names out there. Every little thing that we do gets our name out there. We just have to work on keeping it out there.
I beleive that the publishing of the meeting notes, and Minutes, will alleivate some of these minor concerns. If elected, I will make this a Priority.
I agree whole Heartedly with Jeremy. My “Approval Message” Was only in Gest. Alot of times, in Politics, there are no good canidates, and you basically are voting for the “Lesser of Two (or more) Evils”, I don’t see that as being the case here. All the canidates are top notch, and whomever gets elected, will do great jobs.
(and no, Jeremy, there will be no backstabbing, Mudd Throwing, or any other defamation tactics!!!)

I’m Justin Korpal, and I approve this message!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This one is very easy for me to answer.
I have more time than Money!!!!!!! At least that is what my Grandpa used to say.
I am single, and employed. My Evenings from 4:30 on, and Every weekend is fair game. When I set my mind to something I see it through.
It is a rare occassion, on the Weekends that I am not somewhere in the state caching.
Today for example, I left my house in Green Bay at 4:30am, the meet up with Bushwhacking Queen in Jackson, and then we headed down to the Events in Waukesha.

I have to agree with having some areas off Limits. Unfortunately not all cachers are “Environmentally Friendly” I have been to many areas that damage has occured due to geocaching. While most geocachers express great Caution, there are those that do not. I do feel that to this point, there have been many great things done by the WGA to get caching back into the SNA’s. Everytime we volunteer a little time during the Campouts or Picnic’s, that goes along way. People see that good that becomes of it. Unfortunately government moves slower than Molasses in January, so we have to rool with the flow.

Hey now, Who you calling a Schmuck!!!! Oh wait, I resemble that remark!!!!!!
I think Winter activites would be great! I do know that Astro-D Team did do a Winter campout in some cabins years back. I was not able to attend that one, as I was not caching then, but all the stories I hear make me wish I was there!!!!
I think Winter events need to be planned. I am up for that!!

I have to agree, that this is a fun question.
Anything works for me!
I do like taking new people out caching as well as Seasoned Vetrans. Finding Caches is not what it is about. I enjoy the Comradarie, and friendship. I don’t have a problem driving, but I have a small Jeep, so I can really only take one person Comfortably! The numbers also don’t matter. I do like going back to caches that I have already found. Kinda like hiding your own easter eggs!!!
Lunch can be anywhere. Generally I liek a Sit down place a bit better than fast food, but we can always bring up the Restruant’s on the GPS!~!!!!

I agree, in the fact that we need to keep this fun, for us to continue. Politics do have a tendency to spoil some things. All of us are reachable, and will answer any questions that you may have. Politics are a necessary part to a degree, but I can guarantee you that the Love of the game will not change in one way on my Account.

I do beleive that the voting should be public. Meeting minutes should also be published as soon as possible after the meetings. This will help all members to know what is going on behind the scenes.

Why Vote for me??
Well, that is a very good question, with many possible answers. I feel that my availability, and Friendly Demeanor make me a great Canidate. I feel that this great group of canidates is well versed in caching in the great state of Wisconsin.
I have been at all the WGA Functions since I have been a member, and have helped at all but my first one. I have hosted some events, have placed many caches, and am very active in the forums.
I cache somewhere in Wisconsin every weekend. have also been know to sneak a few in during Lunch!! I am very accessible, and will help whenever called upon. It is a rare weekend when I don’t get phone calls from 8-10 Different Cachers, asking questions, or wanting to meet up to go caching.
I have been to all areas of this great state, and to many areas I did not know existed.
Thank you for Listening to my comments, reading all of our posts, and Please consider me, to help lead YOUR Wisconsin Geocaching Association.

As far as the DOT Is concerned, I feel it is very important that we get out ducks in a line before making any snap decisions. I feel it would be a great Idea to get a presentation group toghether, and show the DOT the good that Geocaching does for the state. We can mention the funds that it brings in for our highways and roads, and also the funds that stay in the state. We have many cachers that do not leave the state for caching. All there texes from fuel stays right here.
I think if we get a good presentation group toghether, that this “Ban” can be reversed, just Like Brown County’s.

I agree with Freshening up the Logo, and Chaniging it for the times. It does get the point across, but could be “Enhanced”.

I also would like to see the coin done on an annual basis. It would also be a good Idea to get it standardized, so that it always comes out in the same month. I do like the idea of people submitting Artwork, or ideas. I think this should be done months prior to the coin, so that a vote can be taken and then Majority rules.
