Well, I can now vouch for the Marible: here be Monsters Cache. I just did it today. The park is closed from Novermber to May, so had to park at the winter coords. This is actually on the Property for the Izzak Walton Conservation League. The walk from there is about .7 Miles in, and .7 miles back. Trails all the way, except for about the last 100 feet. Made it easy with the snowbrush today!!!

Now, If I could only say that for Harpts Lake, and Tuma lake by da FU..

    Congrats Guys:

    Keep up the awesome work.

I do beleive that the time would be of no problem. I work a 40 hour week, with very little overtime. Occasionally, I do do work for a former employer, but maybe 10 hours a month or so. I do enjoy going caching on the weekends, and feel that I would have more than enough time to help out with any meetings/Get Toghethers.

I don’t know what latin dictionary you guys used, but rest assured after consulting with a professional language translator, the final answer is:

    I CAME, I SAW, I ATE CHOCOLATE….

My Geocaching Goals are as follows:

    1: Meet new People
2: Go to places that I have not been to before
    3: Find More Caches
    4: Place more quality Caches
5: Attend all the WGA events
6: Attend as many other events as possible
    7: Host more Events
8: Bring Non WGA Members that Geocache to the WGA
9: Introuduce more people to the Geocaching Hobby.
10: MOST IMPORTANT!!!! TRY NOT TO FALL IN SO MANY CREEKS/STREAMS, ETC!!!!!!

I agree with the above posts entirely. And as Anne States, there is absolutely no way to please everybody.

I definetely think at the forefront of the issues, is getting more Wisconsin Cachers, to be WGA members. I have cached with many people, wo do not know what the WGA is. I have also brought many nem members to the WGA.

I also beleive Education is very important, whether it be hosting Paperless Caching Classes, or public Awareness events at Fishing/hunting/Camping Shows. I beleive that this would stongly benefit the WGA, in that it would get us out there, and make us known more then we are at the present.

in reply to: Question for the Candidates… MAGC #1768654

I can definetely see both sides of this question. Being a MAGC Member, I do realize the importance of this orginization. The guys and gals give there all in the service, and we should all support them whichever way we can. I beleive the WGA would help out on some capacity, but not being a board member myself, I would not know which way the board was leaning at the present time. I will surmise, though that the WGA could help out in many ways, but not sure if there is the resources at this point to fully take over. As was stated before, the WGA sees geocaching education very important, and would be more then happy I would think to help out to meet the education goals.

Yeah, but you would be using technology man…..
Where is my human space transporter. I knew I parked it near this moving sidewalk!!!

    Justin

Nope, you are all wrong. It is “I came, I Saw, I complained about the cold!!!!!”

As far as numbers are concerned, I can take them or leave them. What I enjoy most about geocaching, is going to places that you would not normally go to. I also really enjoy meeting other cachers on the trail, and going out with them. I have found 660 since 4-29-2006, and have my team has hidden a total of 20. Most are multis!!!

in reply to: Questions for Candidates – Leadership #1768594

I feel that, with my strong problem solving skills, and communication skills that I would be a good Leader in the WGA. Sometimes problems can be eliminated before they start solely on good communication alone. I have also served on other club boards, and am well versed in running a smooth and effective meeting. Meetings are very important, to get points acorss and get business accomplished.
