Congrats DOC, we hope one day to have that many also
I saw it and was upset that we already had camping plans for that weekend, but once we expanded the area map out we realize we are camping only 1/2 hour from the event so we will try to be there. Camping, adult beverages and early wake up dont always mix well
Rates vary quite a bit, we have rented a car in Vegas for $8.75 per day and in Miami the same car was $60.00 per day..if you rent the longer the term the cheaper the “daily” rate will become (ie weekly), but the big one to watch out for is the added costs. After taxes and service fees that $8.75 per day car was almost $25.00 per day
2 Bicycles
Kayak (ordering it tonite)
3 Delorme Directories
4 GPS Units
Geocoins (150+)
PDA
Wisconsin Roadside Geology book
2 1,000,000 candlepower Flood Lights
Camo Duct tape (that doesnt even stick to itself)
Ammo Cans
Several cans of green spray paint
Walking sticks
5 pair of hiking boots (between 2 people)
Doctor bills for a muscle tear and tick removal
Bright Orange sweatshirtCongrats Annie, glad we were there for some of them!
Sorry, yes it was Mrs TBCs idea and a very good idea at that..Thanks for getting the idea rolling
Just wanted to say thanks to Team Black Cat, The Pharm Girl, Lone_Gunman & Frmr for making Saturday a truly fun day of adventures while we explored the maze and some of the area caches.
Pharm we missed you at Breakfast but for some reason we felt that you will still with us all day, I think we did the same caches leaving town you did.
Also a huge thanks to Jeremy for aiding us and playing webcam camera man
Had a blast and hope we can do it again sometime
THANKSAlso it seems most of us hit milestones during this weekend. Frmr hit 200, TBC hit 1100, Pharm Girl was just short of 1300 and with the number of times I saw her name I think she made it (did you) and we hit 1600
Yeah PharmGirl the webcam and Jokers Hole we need for Blackout, and we plan on getting them. Or Hit Rueben’s Cave on the way home

By the way it is one of the 12 caches required for the completion of my northwestern12 pack challenge. Now ya only have 11 left to go.

Actually only 10, did the night cache awhile back..actually maybe only 9 since one is disabled..still see only 8 have completed it, maybe something to think about once we get STF on Well Rounded
Does a run in with Homeland Security count?
We are waiting until next Friday to decide when we are heading out. It is month end at work and I have to stay later, so depending on how late will determine if we go late Friday nite or Early Sat am. Either way we plan at being there overnite on Saturday and being to the event fairly early
Would love caching with others after the fact, I have only two caches in the area for my must do, a webcam and one 5 terrrian (I need both for blackout)
Hotel, wont know until we get there
Count me in also..Have done several of yours and found them all to be interesting
I know that container came from the Wausau Cito Event, didnt think it came “filled” with that particular item.
Nice Pic-Thanks for sharing
Unfortunately the Wiki link for help spreading the word still has the cut and paste html cheat for the old logo
So right now if you want to add the logo and you are not html literate the only choice you have is the old logo. I thought this was going to be changed, months ago?
The one thing I have been most appreciative of is how caching has caused us to push to do things that in the past we would not have thought we could do and learning to do things we didnt think we could do
My wife climbing 40 feet up a pine for a cache
Having most of blackout completed (5 left)
From doing difficult terrain caches we have a balance impaired cacher in our twosome, who has learned enough balance to ride a bicycle again for the first time in 16-17 years
Caching the Bugline Bike trail on Saturday, on a bike
Besides that and most importantly all the great people we have meet through this sport and some great memories that will never fade
