Welcome aboard, hope to enjoy caching as much as rest of us seem to
I will jump in at 4/25/09..but this sounds like something that an event should be made out of, or one giant group cache so many can join in the celebration
I for one was hoping it was a real event. After looking at the puzzles of the people who supposedly holding this event I thought it would be a great way to learn from some of the most unique puzzle creators in the state. So not only is the joke a pain in the butt for the people who where supposedly holding it, but it is also for us who would have been interested in attending.

Congrats
If we are doing the Margaritas I guess I will have to bring my blender. The wife says I make raspberry ones that taste just like those at Chili’s. By the way the secret is not in the mix it is in the ice, shaved ice kind of like a snowcone
Since we have done the Delorme and and Counties my answer is all areas. We have seen great caches in many great areas and have appreciated them all. Yes SE Wisconsin is great for numbers and it is where we reside I can say some of my favorite caches are in LaCrosse area, Wausau area, and my favorite is on page 104 of the Delorme and it simply is the middle of nowhere.
We have 4 other states in which we have 50 or more finds (Nevada, Utah, Indiana and South Carolina) and they all have great caches but not the variety of the caches and landscapes to caches in. If it wasnt for snow I would want to stay hereCongrats Kevin. I know it took a while but you have had a busy year, hopefully you get the next 100 faster than the first 100.
If we get a few more we could get to work. Most cruise lines offer a free room to the planner, I would say whomever sets this up apply that discount to all the members so everybody’s price goes down some.
The other thing I would check into is any discount for Cruise line loyalty, I know we personally could get a discount with Carnival (we have cruised with them before) and I expect we will get the same type of offers with NCL (will cruise in March with them). If there is anybody else, except Mark who I suspect cruised USN, that has cruise and could get a loyalty discount it cant hurt to add to let us knowRespectfully disagree Cheezehead. Those members who are running for re-election as part of their campaign mention their contributions to the BOD, so I think it belongs on the ballot.
I am certainly not suggesting that if a person is running for re-election should not be allowed to discuss his or her accomplishments during their tenure.
I do not think we need to have how long a person has been a BOD member on the ballot, unless we are considering term limits (I am kidding about the limits)My two cents on this is that if a member is running for re-election it should be listed. After all part of the process should be making a determination of what a party has to offer. With those who are not running for re-election questions become very helpful and for those who are running for re-election we have the opportunity to also apraise what they accomplished in that postition besides asking questions.
So yes if they are running for re-election they should have the benefit or bear the responsibility of what they did and it should be posted that they are running for re-election (on the ballot)
Get me a list of good caches in your area that I haven’t done and I will try to make it 😀 . Seriously the biggest thing is when and at what time (I try not to do mornings on the weekends)
This changes things, I assumed (yeah I know what that word means) that we all got 1 vote and the top 5 would assume the spots.
I know I will have to rethink the matter some
There is another big smiley NW of Vegas
Congrats J&L we also hit 1200 yesterday on The Return to Oz-Final
