My three favorite are pulled pork sandwiches, but I always have to pull the recipe. Italian sausage (Habenaro Chicken ones are the best but I like them hot) boil a package long enough to get the grease/fat out, add one thinly sliced onion, one thinly sliced green pepper (or any color of your choice) and 2 cans of stewed or diced tomatoes (with Italian seasoning) on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6 hours.
And chili..I would give you a recipe but I never make it the same way twice, I never know what is going in until I shop

    Very good idea HB,
Honestly I was surprised as to how many counties are represented and actually I was surprised by a few that we not already established. Vilas (which Lost By 7 is working on ) and La Crosse are two that come to mind

Other thing is if there are cachers in some of the counties that do not have EC that would be willing to help with getting cordinates and intell maybe some of us could aide in writing the EC for those counties if those cachers in those counties are not interested.
After all you dont need to be near the location of an EC, after all my nearest one I wrote is roughly 300 miles away

well, i for one (newbie to the wga) failed to vote for my pick…….so no b%#$hing for me. i do hope that everyone can get past this issue and continue to enjoy caching though…..

in hindsight, there were some nice submissions, and i think everyone that made a contribution should be given an “attaboy” for their time and thought.

    attaboy.

After almost three pages-I agree with Red Rusty

Okay this is a unofficial breakdown by counties and the number of EC’s, if a county is not listed there are none:
    Ashland-9
    Bayfield-4
    Brown-2
    Buffalo-3
    Calumet-1
    Clark-1
    Columbia-1
    Dane-4
    Dodge-2
    Door-4
    Douglas-1
    Dunn-3
    Eau Claire-1
    Fond du Lac-2
    Iowa-2
    Iron-3
    Jefferson-2
    Langlade-1
    Manitowoc-4
    Marathon-1
    Marinette-1
    Marquette-1
    Milwaukee-10
    Outagamie-1
    Ozaukee-2
    Pierce-3
    Polk-1
    Sauk-4
    Sheboygan-3
    Taylor-1
    Vernon-2
    Walworth-7
    Washington-3
    Waukesha-17
    Winnebago-1

35 counties out of 72-I think we can do this. I know Lost by 7 mentioned 1 county he is trying to get so we could be halfway.

You are attributing these quotes to members of the BOD, the parties who made these quotes or candidites for the BOD and are not currently on he BOD.

My thought is the EarthCache will not go the way of the virtual. With Earthcache.org and what is needed to set up an Earthcache I think will perserve them. This being said I agree we must look at quality as opposed to quantity.
Most counties could have multiple locatison within it that would have the ability to place an EC, I know that some counties do not have any in them know and I would recommend that if we pursue this we try to place the best possiable EC in those counties.
Regarding the IAT, I know most of AuniteNae’s are near the IAT but I do not know where about this state it streches but it is certainly an idea that could be explored

    Great Topic!!
    Highlights-There are many:
Meeting and becoming friends with some great people
Got to 1000 finds (about 900 this year) and the mock race with Dr. Doolittle for the first to 1000
    Cached in 13 different States
    Completed the South Carolina Delorme
    Completed the Wisconsin Delorme
    Page 104 of the Delorme
Completed the Badger State County Challenge (the day after the Delorme)
    MWBG
    2 WGA Events
West Bend Cache Event (found 46 of the 50)
A cache called Catwalk-you would have to read the logs around when I did it to understand
and surprisingly given how much I dislike Earthcaches, became a Silver level Earthcache Master

    For 2009:
Finish the last 10 spots for the Well Rounded Cacher
Try to get to some new states
MWBG and/or Geowoodstock and West Bend again
Try to get to 2000 by 9/12/09 (our 2 year caching anniversary)
    Some more WGA events
Try to get our first foreign cache
Place 1 more EarthCache and find 14 more so I can get the Platnium level (I got this far why not finish)
and finally hope to meet more truly great people along the way
After all the caching is fun, the people make it great!!

in reply to: Bandits New Night Cache, "EYES!" #1896934

We are meeting up with our Geocaching friend from South Carolina for dinner on New Years Eve in Waupaca and are considering taking her and her boyfriend on there first night cache. I hope that this is somewhat friendly or the snow keeps melting

in reply to: You know you’ve got it bad when…. #1899311

Not that my Beale is a earthcache but the idea came from a scene in the first National Treasure. We maybe should keep Trekkin away from the Indiana Jones Movie Series

in reply to: Winter friendly caches #1899313

Bill, you have one in the Merton Area up a steep hill (forgot the name sorry) that was marked winter friendly and in September (or so) it was on the ground..hope it is the only one like that

in reply to: Anyone actually planning on caching on xmas day? #1899268

There was a new puzzle published in are area on xmas..took the time to solve it but not to go for it. Since there are a few FTF hounds in my area I was surprised to see it last 3 hours before the FTF

in reply to: Services offered #1898860
