One suggestion, I know last year there was a posting similar to this one, the biggest difference was that those who were interested had to apply by a certain date, and the posting wasnt up a very long time before that date. I maybe wrong but I think it was posted just before I went on vacation and the apply by date was while I was on vacation.
Since that date I dont remember seeing a posting or hearing anywhere that more people could be used in these committees
Either keep a thread saying we need x# of people for these spots going to post the need for more people on a occasional basis. As an example I know one person that had interest in one of these committees last year but never knew the need for volunteers was needed after that apply by date so never inquired

Mr. TE can keep pace with us, after all its not a race. Besides I have been having a leg issue that may slow me down. Besides then we can get more stories about his evil older brother (kidding on the evil part)

Your coin in HI maybe retrievable. We are headed there later this year and if it is on the same island as us at the same time I would be happy to grab it. Just let us know what it is and we will watch for it for you

Valid point, I asked Wis Kid about a cache I wanted to do, not only did he offer good advice he asked a few questions as to what I was trying to do and actually made good suggestions for the cache considering additional logging requirements

May your second 100 come faster-I think I was involved in nearly 1/2 of your finds. Maybe you just need to cache with us more

I added the idea of creating a Bloggers listing to the suggestion page. I myself dont know if I would blog, but certainly some are doing it and have enjoyed looking and reading the ones I have discovered.

I would ask that if you feel it a good idea post a comment in the suggestion box. Just like Facebook can be used to present caching to a new crowd, blogging could do the same

Have to admit the one that caught my eye is Todd300s blog name, you are not alone Todd there is at least one other cacher with the same problem.

Doing a cache rescue I found a murky rusty cache, so I returned with it to my car, along the way I put the mess in a shopping bag. When I get to my car there is a squad parked behind me. It seems this parkway is known for drug sales and some people have hidden their stashes along the way and use GPS to relocate their product at a later time. So the officer wants to see whats in the bag.
Dump the cache container out near his feet and he sees it is nothing (didnt check much as it stunk). So I go on the next cache rescue which is about .25 of mile away. Find the cache, open the top and find a rather sizable supply of illegal tobacco.

80 is our best..we accomplished it in the Palmdale CA doing a series called CLUE and a portion of the Tarot series. Time of year has a lot to do with it as we did it a few days before Thanksgiving. Had we had more sun light we could have easily hit 100. Of course I dont know if I would have wanted to do that series in the summer, it is a bit of dessert.

40-65 Timmerman Field is not usable, as there is no clear cut answer on who owns the land so permission is an issue and concerns to the proximity to the airport

Also some of your counties are are incorrect. Meno. Falls and Gerkes Corners are Waukesha not Walworth

Last year I used 2 votes. This year I can not use any, as I have left my membership lapse and will not be hitting renew anytime soon.

But I agree with the question, is our voting system the best. I dont know, I have no suggestions or solutions, but I feel we can do better
