You can use the WGA logo as a link on your web page, as long as you’re not using it on a commercial site or implying WGA endorsement of your page or event, etc. Thanks for the link!

I have looked all over for data that I can download onto my GPS unit, but am not finding what I am looking for.Are there any general public domain sites for finding information about: Indian Mounds, trails not on maps, boat landings, etc. In other words, all the detailed information not generally found on paper maps.
Thanks for your help and suggestions.
It’s just getting started, but you may find some of what you’re looking for here: http://www.waymarking.com
Go to the web page for the event here: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=3019aa29-3774-4e6e-a6b7-e2dc6249f249 and click on “log your visit.”

No, russell, no advance downloading of coordinates. We’ve been busy putting finishing touches on the event and we’ll be ready to serve you tomorrow morning.

Nice audio capture, Jeff!
But once again it confirms my opinion: never, NEVER listen to talk radio. As far as we can tell, it wasn’t anyone on the board that deleted it.
Hmm, after I posted the above I looked again, and Major Brat’s post is still there. It’s in a different position though, right? Very strange.

Why? What’s the harm in letting members voice their opinions, espcially when the discussion has been so courteous and well-reasoned?

Well! I’m happy to see that being in lockstep with Jeremey is being challenged by more than myself.
First of all, I like Jeremy Irish. I think he has the best interests of geocaching at heart.
Secondly, my stance of multiple logs of temp caches at WGA events is: Log ’em all if you want to. You earned them.
Personally, we don’t log all our found temps at events. We log once per event. However, I have no problem with those who do log each find.
Thanks for the offer. Right now the plan is to not have door prizes this year. It’s been a lot of work to collect them, and the organizers have contentrated efforts on other aspects of the event this year — especially placing a lot of great temp caches.
Very nice story! Nice job, Rhonda and John. And thanks for posting the video file, Tony.
Very cool. We’re signed up. Now we have another forum to monitor.
Damn, those Private Investigators are everywhere. Oh well, maybe by the time of the picnic the poison ivy will drive them away from Greenbush.
