Another method is to let the nit-pickers in the crowd find your errors and correct them for you.
BTW, that should be “…like it seems you’re doing.”
Whenever the topic of difficult vs. easy geocaches comes up, I try to point out that we’re not all talking the same definitions. My favorites are the “difficult” geocaches that involve a long hike, a climb, a boat trip, etc. We like the physically difficult geocaches, not the mental puzzlers. For examples, our The Shocking Truth About Henry, or Devil’s Lake Revisited, or River Cache. Great hikes that give you a workout. That, to us, is what a great geocache should be.
We have lurkers from Florida and New York? Whodathunk?
Sorry, markt, we shouldn’t forget there are newbies in the group. (Welcome!) miata is a geocacher from Neenah. He drives a… well, you can guess where his ID came from.
I think forums SHOULD be all about being “nice.” Why not? We can still work to fix problems but we can do it with respect and civility. Rather than letting no four-letter words be the guideline, how about a more stringent guideline: Would you say the same things to other people face to face that you say in the forums?

If you still want to get your T-shirt order in, do it by midnight tonight (Sunday). We’re sending the order to the T-shirt company tomorrow.
Yes, I still have the hat, I think. I moved this past winter and you know how that goes — it’s probably in a box somewhere.

Between uses I hang mine up with the opening at the bottom so it drip dries completely. To wash it, I have a brush kit: ( http://outdoor-rangefinders.com/hydration/brushkit.htm ) but I haven’t used it much. I have filled it one-third with water and put in a couple of drops of dishwashing soap, then shake it up and rinse thoroughly. The main thing is, never use it for any liquid other than water, unless you like mold.
I’m confused. In Nov. 2003 I checked the location for Commemorative Cache and couldn’t find it anywhere. I’m wondering where houseofbrew and Socko found it. Personally, I don’t think it should be reactivated because I’m not convinced it’s in its original spot.
Welcome, nwc. You’ll find lots of friendly geocachers in the forums and on the trails in Wisconsin. Illinois too. Glad you found our forums. We hope you can make it to some of our upcoming events: http://wi-geocaching.com/events/
Interesting! But it provides even more incentive to keep an extra book of emergency matches in a plastic baggie.

It’s a more humane way to kill the feral cats.
John, when we found this one over a year ago, there was a cache (plastic container) hidden at the first coordinates. Inside the container we found the coordinates for the second and final cache.

Umm, isn’t that what geocaching is about?
May 1, huh? Hmmmm.I agree. When I geocache, it’s usually when I have some free time while I’m in a particular area and I want to see what the local geocachers want to lead me to. I don’t often have time to do a series. I simply want a nice walk in the woods along a trail that the geocacher is encouraging me to visit.
