Nice job, brupp. I’m sorry that I must have completely missed your original post. I didn’t realize you asked for help or suggestions. Please continue to keep us informed of your progress and let us know if there’s anything the WGA can do to assist your efforts with the parks.

Good question! It’s supposed to end at the end of February. We’ll get that posted on the page ASAP.

Yah sure hey you betcha!
We expect pricing will be in the same range as last year, so they should be in the $10 to $11 range for regular sizes.
To get things started, we need all our talented WGA artist types to submit T-shirt designs. Designs should state the name of the event (Wisconsin Geocaching Association Campout 2004), the location (Hartman Creek State Park), the dates (May 14-16). If you want to include the coordinates that would be cool too. (N44°19.194 W89°13.626) You can email your entries as a jpeg file to me at [email protected]. The WGA board of directors will select one logo design for the T-shirts. An on-line order form for ordering T-shirts will appear on the WGA website prior to the campout.

Jeff,
Glad you’re looking forward to the campout. So are we. I’d be interested in bringing my canoe also but I’m not sure there will be much time for canoeing that weekend. It’s also been just a tad chilly that weekend in May. Maybe we can organize a canoe trip for interested WGA members sometime this summer on the Wisconsin River, or the Flambeau, or the Kickapoo or….?kbraband

Bill,
Thanks for asking. Last year’s shirts were provided by a WGA member at a good price to the organization. I’m checking with him to see if his company will provide them again this year.quote:

After lunch I decided to tackle this problem once more. Huzzah! Problem is solved. My computer’s COM port somehow got switched to COM4. Switching back to COM1 and then killing some programs as before did the trick.
I just spent the past 45 minutes trying to hotsync… no luck at all with the cradle or with IR. I was going to try Jeff’s suggestion but I don’t have a process by that name. I killed all the processes I could and still no luck. Right now I can’t use my PDA for geocaching. It’s just an electronic calendar.
I have two of those GEO bumper stickers that I’m not using. If you want one, email me your address and I’ll send it to you.
Go to Control Panel>Network & Internet Connections>Internet Connections>Internet Options>Security>Trusted Sites> and then add the URL for the WGA site to your list of trusted sites.
I’m also having problems hotsyncing my Palm, but through the cable. I haven’t tried the IR method. I haven’t been able to hotsync the last several times I have tried it. I’ve been busy lately and haven’t tried for a couple of weeks, but it was frustrating. Previously when I had problems my solution was to open Windows Task Manager and one by one end all the processes that had my name next to them (as opposed to System tasks). This used to work, but it did not work the last few times I tried it. Brian, you might want to try it to resolve the COM conflict. As I said, it used to work for me.
I like snow.
