I have had problems lately with Google Earth disappearing also! Don’t tempt me on coming over to help you out, I have a laptop so it’d be easy to use my G.E… 😉 Would like to get out caching, but the weather is so cruddy I don’t need to slide into a ditch chasing after a 1/1 gotta save a story like that for the 5/5’s!
I figured that Door county would be the logical also, and since we’ve never been over there would give us an excuse.

As an aside, it’s amazing the amount of locations a person could hide caches along the bike trail to Sparta, riding along there and plenty of spots asking to be filled.

Wow! Now that East of Rock is an interesting location! I was hoping more towards Watersmeet, then I’d have two areas covered and be ready for one of your challenges.

The cache by Dubuque was a premium member cache and vanished about mid July I believe (have to check to see). Surprised that it hasn’t been replaced as it was in a good location for one.
Be interesting to see this challenge, if the required locations are where the lines end on Marc’s map I may have a few years to try or would the northeastern location be weighted more towards the north?

No!! You stay out of Indiana and Michigan, go home right away… geesh, they are the only states I have that you hadn’t found in yet… 😆 Good thing I have the wifie on a caching mission.
Have to agree this is Wisconsin and no boots?

Hey Nate!! What about sandals?? Kris is off to Puerto Rico and she did remember sandals, I hope she has shoes decent enough to cache in as I made sure she took the gps with.

Have to admit using it, I like being to see where the activity for caching is going on and who has been out finding while I’m stuck at work. Also it comes in handy to catch up on people and see where they are numbers/activity wise.

I for one am happy that they updated the Dutch language, I was having trouble showing people that spoke Dutch what geocaching was.. 😛

Looked good when I was able to get on…

Flipping channels tonight trying to find something decent on and saw that QVC was selling 12 for $21.97 today, almost had the wife order them but wasn’t sure if they were true lock and locks.

I knew better than to follow the autorouting down the bike trail in Kendall even though the gps kept telling me to turn. I knew the trail was the easiest way to get to the cache as that was the shortest route, but I didn’t think the bicyclists would appreciate it.

    Sorry, I just can’t resist.. 🙄
Maybe he just wanted to get you folks out of his county? You know how it goes, reputation proceeds you kind of thing?? 😆

That’s nice, not often getting an escort like that!

Yepper, I have 3 sleds and can only ride 1 at a time, waiting on the kids to get big enough to ride with me.

in reply to: Snowmobiling and caching #1918038

I’d like one of them, seems I have all the kids wanting to go out with me! I do have extra snowmobiles.. and I can be bribed! 😆

I believe there was one up near Spooner last fall also. My in-laws live near Chaseburg and Esofea and supposedly they are down there also. My feeling is the DNR doesn’t want to acknowledge they exist as then they have to follow federal laws on regulating them and their habitat.

Looking at Sparse Grey Hackle’s pic earlier again tonight and only four miles on the trip tick! What year and kind of Polaris is it? Console looks like the one on mine.
Miata, what year? Miles? Looks purty!! Bet it rides like a dream! Figures I get the sled ready and they close the trails! Bummer

Got one sled ready today, other two still need some tlc, been on a caching drought and actually bothering me (isn’t that a sign of an addict?).
Same here, soon to be snomocaching!
