Got the moon and stars today, but then I got to thinking that we should have done a night cache to match the souvenir. Ammo can for the first day, do a cache on a bike trail for tomorrow… Could make things more interesting…
Oooooh! Light Post on Saturday. Wonder if there are any of those in West Bend 😆
Crazy talk 😈 but since you asked, I’ll do some research this weekend 8)
Illinois – grew up on State Line Rd and most my family is south of the border. Plus McHenry County does a coin challenge every year that I can’t pass up 😀
Woohoo! Someone found the lil hippies racer in a different cache, so now we’re back on the road. Now if we could jump to Australia before the race ends 😀
I’ll do them all, but only so I can finish up some of the souvenir challenges in Eau Claire 😉
i am, although i don’t use it much
GC1A5D0 Valley of the Ice Grotto – no ice when we visited because of warm winter, but an awesome hike in a beautiful area. plus it was lonely 😉
GC3R8Z6 Ferry Bluff SNA EC – great workout jogging to the top of the bluff and wonderful views down the river
GC3DKEC Under the Glacier–The Wilkie Gorge – Cross Plains SP, undeveloped but still one of my favorite places to visit and explore
GC1A9G8 Driftless: Natural Bridge State Park – great park, peace and quiet as there’s never anyone out there plus one of the oldest sites of human habitation in the NE US
GC1A9G5 IATCC – Parfrey’s Glen SNA – Parfrey’s Glen, ’nuff said
GC1Z45H This Gibraltar Rock is Really Lying Out There – awesome spot, used to rock climb here before it was closed. also used to be able to run to the top, not so much anymore
GC1YDTJ Holes in the Devil – Potholes Trail at Devil’s Lake, always a fun climb
I’ll be down for at least part of it, sans lil hippies. Not competing, so I’ll hopefully be spending most of my time working on the IL DeLorme & county challenges.
Caching is definitely my good addiction having replaced other less positive activities. That being said, I’ve been trying to manage my addiction which means we cache every other day and only go to a handful of events in IA or IL instead of caching everyday and driving to northern MI for 1 cache 🙂
Happy to report that after 4+ months I was assured the lil hippie’s lion is coming out of retirement in Canada!

i grabbed 2 this weekend, just have to get caught up on logging and reporting 😉
Don’t take this as coming from cranky old fahts , just old fahts  .
We have a tendency to be tardy on logging caches, but we always log Cache Rescues as quickly as possible, usually from a phone. It’s the one time we want to be sure to get the word out to others, “don’t waste your gas and energy on this one, as the opportunity is gone.” 🙂 🙂
8) Yeah, Rescues & FTFs I try to get done ASAP so others know. My 2 CRs are done, finds from Feb not so much, but I’m getting there. 😉

Maybe the four of us are just oddballs.
It’s not all about the numbers – it’s all about the fun.I’ll say I agree with both these statements! 8) I cache because there’s nothing better than when we are hiking through the forest or along the trail and I ask the boys if they’re having fun and just get big smiles back. Getting out caching lets me keep balance in my life and have an excuse to get away from everything for a bit.

Congrats on the amazing milestone and thanks for letting us tag along. I had a great time grabbing those caches!

Hopefully a cold beer after coming back from GC1DM7Z and not a cold and wet hippie 😀
Success and success, now cooking some spaghetti bolognese for when mrs hippie gets home.
We’ll see you for both tomorrow then, should be fun…because I’m kinda crazy like that 😀
