The hippies would be up for some 10k celebrating, but I don’t think we can make it up in time for Gallagher Marsh. Have to get wife ready for work and then 1.5+ hour drive.
If the most esteemed escort doesn’t mind, maybe we’ll join the fun and then work a reverse Wet Maze 😉
Hopefully a cold beer after coming back from GC1DM7Z and not a cold and wet hippie 😀

I’m not so worried about my own life and limbs, but the lil hippies, which puts my ‘danger sense’ on a finer edge. On the plus side, I feel it will help them understand and deal with potentially dangerous situations later. Really if it seems suspect to me, then I attempt it when the lil hippies are at home with mom! 😀
Whatever we are doing seems to be working as another group I belong to recently setup their own LCG and worked with and copied much from the WGA administrators.
$.02 from the hippie:
1. The LCG is a way I can give back a little by checking up on some of these caches and in some instances even replacing them.
2. The timeframe to log them is good to have, maybe could even be shortened, to make bookkeeping by the volunteers easier and to motivate me to get my logs written within at least a week 😉
3. It’s for fun! As for subtle and not subtle jabs, I don’t consider myself or the other ‘players’ losers just because we don’t rack up thousands of points. Some of the best caching adventures I’ve been on solo or with a group were due to the LCG.

Congrats on the milestone!
Some of my personal highlights from the trip – I hit a milestone somewhere along the way, wading across and forgetting my boots so I hunted down 3 knights barefoot, & surviving hanging on the side of the cliff to retrieve the final after the rain stopped!
I’m thinking Mrs. Hippie needs an edited account of this adventure! 😀
Mine made a 5500 miles jump to Mexico that didn’t count since the cacher dipped it locally first 👿
