Time for a little Halloween fun. I’ll start it out and then you add a couple lines to make a spooky/funny/goofy Halloween story.

It was a dark and stormy night. The children were upstairs in their beds and there was a nice warming fire set in the fireplace.
I was sitting there reading my book, enjoying a mug of hot chocolate when all of a sudden…
