I can take WRR 46 – Old Plank Road also Jay.
The adoption requests came through very weird – as a trackable adoption and then when I accepted, I was adopting my own cache. So the first two have not transferred. Not sure what is up.

I guess that 450t is safe for a little whole longer. The hard reset seems to have solved the issue. Thanks Marie!
Yeah!

Sometimes – it is due to a corrupted file and it could be as simple as doing a reset on your machine.

It’s time to flip the pages of your calendar or just swipe your electronic devices to May 2015!
Please save the date for the next WGA Spring Campout. We will be meeting the traditional 3rd weekend in May, that’s May 15-17 at High Cliff State Park. The WGA has reserved group camping sites which will be ready for your reservations as we get closer to the date.
That is kind of far for us to travel – we will have to see. Lol….our backyard! We like.

I have a Flat Stanley TB that I am totally pumped about moving. My favorite kind of TB to move is one that belongs to a kid!

Just make sure that your bug isn’t marked as being collectible. If you look on the official rules from groundspeak, it says that people can take bugs marked as collectible and add them to their own collection. I was pretty disappointed when Bad Robot, my bug that won last year’s travel bug race, was taken out of play by someone who decided to collect it. They won’t budge, it’s part of the rules and they say they have every right to do it.
This makes me sad.

Congrats on 5k – great accomplishment – and a lot of headaches….I mean puzzles along the way! Way to go!

I’ve never been to a WGA event but I’d be willing to bet that at least part of this is the fact that social anxiety/phobias are extremely common. People get in a situation where they feel like they’re the only one that doesn’t know anyone eventhough they probably aren’t….and they’re having trouble breaking the ice with people and they get anxious and feel helpless to do anything about it themselves so they put it on other people. “It’s not me that’s completely made myself disappear into the woodwork….It’s them being unwelcoming.” I only know this because I’ve been there. I’ve gotten a lot better with it over the years but, historically, I’ve been pretty extremely social phobic.
Here’s what I would do if it were my event and I felt that all of this was really a problem: I would include, in the schedule, at the beginning of the day a specific time and place for people (individuals…couples….pairs of friends etc) who would like to meet new people to cache with for the day (doesn’t necessarily have to be newbies…just anyone that wants to meet new people and/or not cache alone). The scheduled time would be brief…15-20 minutes tops.
I would have a few friendly outgoing volunteers who have more than a few finds under their belts and who, at least roughly, know the area agree to, almost covertly, attend the meeting and be willing to cache with a sort of potluck buddy or group of buddies.
People could choose to group up with each other or with the volunteers but, primarily, the volunteers role in the meeting would be to grab anybody who is still left standing there like a deer in the headlights at the end of the meeting.
Even if little to no people actually use this option it still sends a message that you’ve made space for the possibility that not everyone is going to know each other and that those who do might actually like to branch out.
Great suggestions. I almost wish I didn’t have two weddings this Saturday. Boo.

So if you are from Stoughton, you must be Norwegian, right? Welcome. My brother and sister-in-law live in Stoughton.
