Nice work Lisa and Anna and Cody too! What a fun cache for a milestone. I remember Fogo Island very well and know it took me two trips to the island to find the treasure. You guys did it Curly Girls style and did it in one. Way to go! Congratulations.

Cache owners need to take a stand and start deleting the logs that are obviously in violation. If it was my cache, that is exactly what I would do. There is a reason there are hours posted and we need to honor those hours, regardless of whether we agree with them or not. It really upsets me to think that geocachers would knowingly violate the instructions clearly posted on the cache page and at the conservancy also.

I hope you sampled a lot of Jellie Bellies while there! 10,000 – that is an incredible milestone. Hope you have had as much fun as finds along the way. Keep on caching. Congratulations!

Why don’t you just buy a geomobile that is designated just for geocaching? Then you could store all of the geocaching stuff in the geomobile. It would be a little more money up front, but in the end, I think it could save you a ton! Plus you won’t have to think about what you need when heading out. It will all be in one place! You could name the geomobile Frogger! 😆

I must si lo and say congrats on an awesome accomplishment. I could si hi, but that would make no sense. When all is said and done, that’s a stinking lot of silos! Have you ever climbed one?

Micros in the woods….now that is just unnecessary IMHO. I don’t mind the park and grabs along the roadside, although when it is a super busy “highway” type, I question the safety. I love those longer hikes in the woods, though and would take those any day over the roadside grabs. We have been known to hike into the deep forest to find an amo can or two. One of my favorite hike into the woods was definitely the Harry Potter series in Camp Vits over by Manitowoc. I will vote for any board member candidate who vows to make it “illegal” to place a micro in the woods! 🙂
