Shoot, but that is a LOT of logs. 20K – deserves a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS!
CONGRATULATIONS!

It’s too bad the series got archived. As I mentioned to Trekin’ and Birdin’ last month, it’s fun to do somthing like that just to say you did. Sure – if every geocache outing looked like that, it would get very dull – but what fun to say you did it. We will definitely have more outings like last Monday where we spent five hours treking through the Kettle Moraine Forest to do the Woodpecker Series and had a blast. Definitely did not pad the numbers, but oh how it padded the stories and memories of geocaching. It’s nice to have a good mix of cache choices I think. Sometimes you feel like working your butt off – other times you just want to grab a few easy ones. Glad there is something for everyone.

I had also read this log and was quite entertained. You really do go to extreme measures to get the job done. Did not realize it was a milestone – so congrats on that. What a fun way to reach 1100 and with your dad too! Very neat.

02/20/2011 at 8:22 pm in reply to: WI. Hibiscus adds rock-climbing to her resume for #1,500 #1943227I was there! And it was fun! I am proud to say that I trailblazed the way to this find. Always fun to cache with Sherry. Not every female cacher likes to hike up snow-covered rocks or climb in the rocks by Lake Michigan – or visit it a 5/1 cache several times to try to find it, but I can always count on Wi.Hibiscus to go to distance with me! Congrats on 1500 Sherry. It’s been a blast to be a part of some of those smileys!

I may be going in March. Not sure. Depends on airfare. Our daughter goes to college there. I will keep you posted as I know more.

This one looks like fun. I’ll have to dig around to see where we are at. Any reason to travel is a good reason! John – what did you do in your spare time before you and Kim started geocaching?

So which was your favorite on the E.T. Trail? Perhaps the last one! Congrats on the 9K – that’s a heap of caches. And glad to hear you had some fun chaches on this trip also. The E.T. sounds like something you have to do once just to say you did it and then never again. Keep going – 10K is coming soon!

Congrats on 1K and I know I did some of your hides just today! Seriously, can you throw in some stumps for variety? 🙂 Keep caching!

What fun to read everyone’s goals! And to get some good ideas for caches to put on the to do list also.
Our goals for 2011:
More caching trips with friends
Add several more DeLorme pages (specifically SW Wisconsin)
Add several more Wisconsin counties
Finish up our D/T grid (we are now at 69/81)
Do more earthcaches
Attend a couple of CITO events
Log #5000
Add a few more states (Texas in Feburary)
Publish a puzzle cache I’ve been working on!The views expressed here are that of myself only and do not necessarily represent that of the WGA board.
Congrats on a fine cache for a milestone. We have been working on that one, but still have 11 gaps. Awesome for you to do it in just 600 finds. WOW!

Way to go Pete. I have been looking at that one for quite some time now. Glad you made it a milestone. Now for some more caching…
