So glad I found that darned Oshkosh cache of yours before your 1-year anniversary….seems like it took me that long. But WOW…that’s a lot of caches in a year. Congratulation on every one of those 1300. And here is to another 1300 before next year! And I bet you told Sherry about geocaching right away…she probably wasn’t listening! 😛

I would “gander” to say that you have had a good time reaching 2k. Congratulations!

If you can get to Celebration there are a number of nice caches there.

I have only heard the stories and read the logs. Sounds like a blast! Next time you do something like this, let me know. It sounds like it was fun, challenging and a time of making memories! Congrats on accomplishing a mega multi! I love these type because when all is said and done, you can’t help but feel a great sense of satisfaction!

Congratulations! That’s a lot of finds. That particular cache gave me headaches for many, many months. Glad you were able to find it, even under the watchful eye of Sagasu.

Those are the kind of numbers to really cheer about. Congrats on 30 years of marriage. And may you have another 30 also. Happy Anniversary.

And definitely keep the old DeLorme….I searched and searched to find it….and it’s all marked with what I have done already.
Macro for GSAK works awesome, so it would just be a matter of bookmarking caches that qualify, running and loading pocket query into GSAK. Seems like that would make it simple to verify.
And don’t move it….right now it’s on my way to pick up my son when he comes north from Chicago! I haven’t yet completed it, but one of these days….
Thanks to those who have stepped forward!

Not bad at all. I am thinking Eagle Eye Phoebe probably found at least 400 of those! Way to go. 1k is right around the corner. Congrats!

Very fine choice of cache for a milestone and it is actually a twofer! Congrats.

Nice milestone Pete! And love the family history between you and Dave, although I did already know that….but still fun to see the connections. Congratulations.

Nice job! Which one of those was 7000 anyway? A great trail….and glad to be able to meet you along the way and put faces to names. Can’t wait to see where we will run into you next! Congratulations!

We just did the Bugline (runs between Menomonee Falls and Merton) Saturday and Sunday. A great trail which has 28 of the state caches on plus a whole lot of others. We also did the State Drumlin trail in the Waukesha area which had the other 22 states and D.C. on and a couple of other caches. Check out the Woodville Trail which is up past Eau Claire (northwest) toward Minneapolis. There are a bunch of caches on that trail. We have not yet done those. We enjoyed the Bugline and the state trail also. We were over in Jackson County Forest earlier this month, which is close to Black River Falls (see earlier post on smiley group of caches). We did about half of those and loved them. It is a rugged area and were were up and down some pretty steep hills and did a lot of bushwacking, but it was a blast. You definitely work for each cache. The Wiouwash (hope I spelled that right) Trail (from Hortonville to Oshkosh) also has a lot of good quality caches on. We have done those and enjoyed them immensely. A few suggestions for you!
