Zillmer’s trail is missing a few of the WP’s and the owner has been notified multiple times. It would be a wonderful cache in a beautiful location, if it was fixed. Good luck…

Was there some program on recently that was about geocaching aimed at kids? There are 2 new caches in Richfield hidden by 2 different 13 year olds in the same subdivision ( GC1PV68 & GC1PJMZ ). I met them at one of the caches. They search and hide with Google maps, no gps’rs.
The one cache was 80′ off the first day. Both containers were cottage cheese containers with no camo. No baggies and post it pads for logs. Most of their cache page logs show their inexperience. They use “found it” to write notes so it appears the one hider has found his own cache 5 times. I’m wondering if something like this might be happening in Oshkosh?I gave these new cachers a nice note in my log encouraging them about the hides, (they are not weather friendly, no bag for the log, etc…) Seems they also claim each other’s caches as FTF – not that I care about that, but you can tell they really are inexperienced. I don’t think they have found any either other than each other’s if I am remembering correctly.
😀 Ah fond memories of the thrill of victory and the smell of chocolate… we had such a blast and had a great team that lead us to our victory. Each with our own strong points. I can almost taste a second year win… Poor 3Hawks… we sat munching chocolate watching them pass the final waypoint several times 😳 not that I am gloating or anything 😆 I will be unable to participate this year, at least not on a team set to win, still recuperating from back surgery, but I would be happy to be there to coax in the car or taste the spoils of the win when over??? 😉 This was a very fun thing to do, although you can’t log the finds on gc.com. I may write the event organizer a note though and see if he would be interested in setting these as permanent caches…. you can thank me in chocolate 🙄
I like the idea of leaving my family coordinates – say to a difficult puzzle cache to get the goodies after I croak! Our kids always tease us about geocaching – this would force them to try it – ha! 😀

did this to my nephew’s birthday presents a few years back. I handed him the GPSr and told him he had to find them.
I did the same thing to the Tapps/Renee wedding. They had to solve a puzzle and find their wedding gift from us hidden in a decorated ammo can in the woods. 😀
I knew I was addicted to geocaching when we went out at 2 in the morning on New Year’s eve into a swamp, with flashlights, to find a nano. Pathetic 🙄 The cache was the Deadwood cache.
Zuma,
You said Bec had you sit next to her, but who was sitting her left? 😉
It is a nice place. Family oriented, quiet. You can fish in the lake. They used to have paddle boats you could rent too. Nice beach and very small play area for the kids. A “tower” that the kids can climb (enclosed metal type slide thingy). Just bring plenty of bug spray as I remember it being quite wooded and buggy 😀
Lake Lenwood has it’s own private lake and beach, a nice place, they DO NOT put up with any serious partying. Timber Trails has a pool and whirlpool, hard core partying going on there, 😯 they even have their own bar on site. There is also Lazy Days Campground, I have never stayed there, private beach.
Hotels – you may want to try Hampton Inn – new. Also Country Inn and Suites is right in the middle of the action. Germantown is also close and they have a few hotels there including another Country Inn. We also have a hotel in Jackson, but it just recently changed names so you could Google it!
We amped up the finds this year based on feedback from this forum and what people wanted hoping to please! 😀 Just really hoping for nice weather like last year, I think that makes the event sometimes, but we roll rain or shine!
Goodie bags will have lots of fun stuff including possible Pathtag for each team, maybe even one for each person – still working on that.
Anyways looking forward to seeing everyone.
Plan for Cache Bash 2009! Get ready folks, gonna be a great one this year! 😆 It is all I have to do since I am too dumb to do many puzzles. Marc, we need you down here so we can come up to the land of Selzzup and git ‘er done – won’t cha please come down here? There are lots of caches you haven’t gotten yet… 😈
I would like to know where that is, can you PM me or post it? Thanks.
Cool, I tried to do it, but I am technically challenged 😛 oh well
I don’t like it, sorry. It should not have been so close of a design to our neighbors whether they objected or not. It says nothing about geocaching! Personally, I like the avitar design of fellow cacher GMO – very nice colors and different – can we use that? 😀
I would have liked to have seen the whole page changed, new colors, new logo, etc… but I suppose that is even opening up a bigger can of worms! 🙄
Oh and I like the design with the GPS stuff in the WI symbol if we are keeping this – can it be added? Way better than making us look like we work for a famous brown delivery company! “What can brown do for you?” 😯 😛 😆
Shameful plug, forget ’em both and come to the Cache Ba$h instead – ha! 😳
Yep, we added to that count a bit with the Cache Ba$h 😳 LOL 😉
It was a whole herd that made the way into the barn tonight! SWEET! They are bigger and better than I thought they would be. I am going to try to MOOOOVe one to Texas with a friend tomorrow! Uh oh, Texas does have a reputation for eating cows though.. 😮 🙁 😯
