Thanks for mooooving our coins along and getting them out to all the udder cachers! I can’t wait! 😀
PharmGirl, take along a helpful Gilligan-elf to give you a boost? 😆 😉
Thanks TL! I will let the other organizers know. We will proceed with making our 2009 Cache Bash pathtag. Thanks for answering for me! 😀
If photos don’t show – I can see them ❓ here is a link http://www.kodakgallery.com/OwnerShareLanding.jsp?collid=98049473814&UV=41875925026_79602473814
anybody out there??? hellllooooo? 😯 Guess nobody wants to sell them – ha! 😆
Dear Santa –
Can you please bring a dog park to West Bend? That way my geodog Cookie will have fun and we will also have more places to hide caches around here! 😆 Please give a nice gift to Mr. G and his wife Sunshine for always setting out such nice winter caches for us to find also! 😀 Last, I take back my request for a lump of coal for PharmGirl when she made a very scary cache that came flying out and hit my dog in the head and had her running for the car. She is actually quite nice and I will forgive her, but only if she comes up with something more devious for next year!
I LOVE the idea. I used to be an avid two planker myself until back issues had me put them to rest for awhile. Don’t forget to place some caches nearer to the slope for the knuckle-draggers – they have a much harder time getting around with the board strapped to their feet. If you did this, we might even consider getting the planks outa the spiderwebs and go for some easy ones! We are ski patrollers by the way, so I would recommend you also let the local patrol know why people are fidgeting around in the woods – we used to watch for suspicious activities including that kind of pole holding type of thing… – 😯 etc…
OMG!!! 😆 😆 😆 😆 That made my day!
Would you still consider it if it was on a separate day – say for an event on Sunday or would people prefer to have it on the Saturday event?
oooohh cool idea! We will look into that! Thanks for the suggestion! I will have to ask the reviewer(s) or if you are reading this reviewer(s), whose jurisdiction are the river banks? Would you think they would be DNR? Local? Hmmmm – anybody?
Hope we would not get a ton of rain the day of or before and lose our cachers down into the Milwaukee River or something 😯 glug

I vote for Annie PharmGirl for MaryAnn, just look how outdoorsy she is! HA! Tami is definitely Ginger with that long angelic hair of hers. Me, I’ll be Mrs. HOWL since OWL is kinda close to Doves and I do love money and diamonds. I also tend to yell and howl alot when I get my car or body parts stuck in swamps, burdocks or other gross places.
$$$cache$$$ now that’s funny right there!!! 😆 LB7, you can be the Skipper – we will fill you full of chocolate and Starbucks coffee and let you row, row, row your boat. Now I know you are competitive kinda guy you won’t have some sort of a 1,204 horse Mercury motor under that thing will ya? 😯 😮 💡 😈
😯 😆 We could get some boats, take a three hour geocaching tour – what a great idea – ha! Who wants to be Gilligan? We already have a professor 😛 😆
Thanks Team DJ for the advice. They are working on it based on last year’s attendance and said if it appeared we would get to 500, based on attended logs – they will give it out early or even after the event. So important the people list how many are coming in their logs to help us achieve this goal.
Oh and everybody put your creative thinking caps on! We are discussing having a creative cache container contest. An urban and a rural hide. How sneaky and creative can you be? We will have a judging and prizes for the best submissions. Thanks to Ecorangers for the great contest idea! Also, get your snorkel gear and fins ready, probably going to be an underwater cache this year – on Sunday…. more info to come!
There were NO FTF gift certficates in any of the caches. The only certificates that were given were those in the goody bags. We did not want to turn this into a race so there was only standard swag in the caches. We had our meeting and have decided to keep our cache placements at 50, I kinda like the idea of ten the night before in a night-time caching event, we will consider that. It was also thought that the Friday event would be more family friendly with the location not at a bar this time, but rather maybe a night-time caching event and then if adults wanted to socialize after that at a bar, they are free to do whatever. We are also looking into a new event for Sunday – maybe that day could be some sort of a race in a park where it would not impact traffic or parking regs. It would probably be a treasure hunt type activity with a 1, 2 3rd place prize at the end. Not sure if we would list it on gc.com as most of the parks are pretty full with caches already, but we can look at it again. It was agreed by all that were at the meeting that the coordinates WILL be released the night before for downloads. We will be probably designing and giving away pathtags for the event also. The Chamber is working with Groundspeak on the best way to make this a MEGA event. The key point is that when people register (we hope to have the cache page up soon) they need to list how many people will be attending in their group. This would be the one and only place for registration as Jeremy suggested. Each and every person counts towards MEGA status. We will be doing more social activities during the downtime between the end of the caching and the start of the prize drawings. We are currently brainstorming on fun activities to do and will be doing the treasure chest again since so many people liked it. The karoke maybe could be done away from where people are visiting to not interfere with that and we are also looking into food vendors for when you get back to the park to eat during the social time. Soooo, hope this makes it even better for all. I think the best thing is the weather – hopefully we will be blessed with another beautiful weekend of great weather for this event. Thanks everybody for your feedback and comments.
