I once heard the penny smashers really did not smash anything, but rather kept your penny and punch out a copper replacement. 😯 So they really do squish ’em?

You got to move around a little more 😯

          😆 😆

I had my head underneath the tracks of a tank thoroughly engrossed in my search when I heard, “can I help you.” Scared the ❗ ❓ ➡ outa me and proceeded to clunk my head on the track – ouch! I learned the “hard” way that tanks are apparently targets for vandalism and the officer was fine with my explanation (“oh, that game”) of what I was doing while rubbing my bumpy head.

              Marc –

Are you planning on holding any “Puzzle caches for Dummies?” type classes this year? I would sure like to do more of them, but… 😳 well, I am a bit brainless and need some help and inspiration! Mr. MagOO and I plan to make a trip up that way as soon as the Packers win the super bowl and we can get a hotel again – ha! 😆

😛 I think I’ll stick to granola bars and chocolate bars. The thought of eating a cattail makes my mouth go all cottony inside – blech! Imagine having a mouthful and then trying to say, “the catchetthheee is othvererr hereeee” as little white thingies fly outa your mouth…

What a frightening experience for you! Glad your dog is ok.

Another reason to be prepared for anything when you go hiking… .especially for women:

I carry most of the stuff listed too, but in addition I also have:

A magnifying glass for reading small print on geocoins
Extra socks – for all the times I have stepped into wet swamps
A thin long sleeve shirt when the skeeters start – can also wrap around my head to keep those darn horseflys from biting me.
                      A pair of portable binoculars
Maps of local trails and roads

After an incident of being confronted by a guy while trying to find a trail in Sussex – I now carry pepper spray too. I can see why some geocachers would carry guns, not necessarily here in WI, but in areas where more wild animals are a concern – heck yes! Well then again in Crivitz, there are bears everywhere this year!

                        😕 😕 oh yeah um hmmmm 😕 ok well, yep I would like to use many smilies and then log them as permanent to this particular thread – will that get me in trouble? HA! 😈 I like ’em so much I think I’ll use them all for this posting – just for fun 😀 🙂 🙁 😮 😯 😕 8) 😆 😡 😛 😳 😥 👿 😈 🙄 😉 ❗ ❓ 💡 ➡

                        P.S. I don’t like cats – me bad… 👿

😆 😆 LB7, the weird thing was, it was not even people from this state. Maybe they wanted to really meet me and bash me in the head with their calculator after counting my temp cache logs… 🙄

Zuma – man you crack me up 😆 😆 😆 It wouldn’t be so darn funny if it had not happened to me too, could not find one of mine either – 🙄

Yes, you are now among the leagues of people who will look at any container and think, “I could make a great geocache out of that with a little camo duct tape…” Nobody’s pills will be safe (those bottles work great). You will get extremely excited if you get invited to a Tupperware party and no one will know why. You find yourself drinking 12 cups of coffee a day just so you can have the can… etc… etc… it is an obsession.

Yes, every find is as good as the first. But wait, you will only get more addicted once you figure out you can start to collect stuff – yep. Like keychains – I am nuts for them. We even have a holiday tree this year with all of them on it. My kids think I have lost my mind but that went a long time ago. Welcome to this fun, healthy and addictive sport. Hope to meet you at an event. You will surely find me, I’ll be the one drinking all the coffee waiting for the can 😯

Yes, they allowed me to make the change with a thorough explanation of WHY I wanted it changed. It has more to do with several e-mails I have received of late – certain indivduals thinking I am “lonely” and offering some help with that – ech… not interested! So I wanted to present myself in a better light and they understood. Still kept the Dove part because I love ’em and it has become part of me. Although I did think of things that seem more appropriate now that I have been caching for awhile like Swampstomper and Burrmagnet, but we have pathtags with the doves on them, etc… and so I left it at that.

Energy – I wish they would! But, they give me gifts every time when I am in the woods enjoying their great music! 😆

Jeremy, thanks for changing my name here too – or to whomever did! Was not sure how to do that… 😕 😳

Wellll, I want the snow to go away so I can go back outside and play!!!! 😉

Hey Furfool – for your wifey, get a weekend getaway – we go to Appleton and stay at the Comfort Inn – free drinks from 5-7 – and go swimming, to dinner, pool (a little geocaching, heck there is a geocache right at the hotel).

If she likes purses and shoes, get her a gift certificate to your local shoe store or mall so she can have fun and get some more!

Otherwise, give her a calendar with a date marked on it with a heart. Tell her there will be a surprise on that day and make a romantic evening at home. Maybe out for dinner first, then some wine, a nice bath for her and music – you get the picture – pamper her – us ladies love that.

Boppin – so sorry to hear of your friend! PM on the way! 😥
