Thanks for the responses, keep them coming. We will bring all these suggestions to our committee meetings for planning of the big 5 year event! The booklet will always stay, don’t worry about that. My question was about the stamp sheet. Perhaps we could have it stapled as the middle page so it could be left either in or easily removed out? Given the size of the books, I am not sure if that would work and the paper is different. We will discuss.
Oh, wondered how that worked. Since they are so different. Hmmm interesting perspective on it. I did not think about anybody “gaining” anything per say – just stating that it would be kind of fun if they hit MEGA status – that’s allotta pancakes to flip!

That log container is pretty sweet! I’ve been thinking of making one similar for some time but just haven’t gotten around to it.
I totally agree about the log, we did it the hard way and hand made one! 😕
Yes, 500 or that it could get close to 500. When we had this many registered our first year with the bash, we knew it would go MEGA the next year and we got our icon.
How FUN! Smile and say cheese!
Signs have been printed so watch for the special picnic tables with the pathtags sign on it especially for trading. Geocoins and travel bugs will also be nearby!
I love to find keychains or pathtags and always try to leave something of equal value if I take something. If I forget, I double up at the next cache! So if you see me at the Bash, and have a keychain, I’ll trade ya for one of my new pathtags! I have also made personal trade items in the past with pins that people can wear on their hats, dove necklaces, “trail snake baggies” (I put dog poop bags that come 100 for abuck at the dollar store into a small 2×3 baggie) – amazed at how many positive comments I got on that! I always be sure to put my name on my stuff too, alot of it I put a lot of time and effort into so it is nice if people take the time to comment on it and send me an e-mail.
I will ask the Chamber at our next meeting if we can get some sort of a sign for a “trading area” for those with Pathtags, what do you think? I find it hard to find people who want to trade. I have a new one too!
This is a great idea, and I just found out about it now! I am excited to see what people come up with. I wish I knew how to submit a design I have one in my head, but not sure how to put it on paper/computer!
Can we still order? I wanted to ask at the Bash, but was preoccupied there. Thank you! 😀
I agree with Beezers, I think the first two are the most important. If people don’t stay current here, is probably due to losing interest in caching, moving, or other life factors. I think would make it sort of a waste of time to chase after people. If they were interested in it, they would stay current. Just MY opinion. 😀
08/21/2010 at 2:38 pm in reply to: Thanks to all who helped with the WGA Booth on Saturday!!! #1934532I heard this from 5 other cachers that were there and they were wondering where to get a WGA nametag. I told them I thought the WGA would be doing them on Sunday. The Chamber’s bash itself next year will have paper nametags, but I think people still want the WGA ones. I am not sure if it was a cost issue or what since I can’t speak for the WGA, I am sure Zuma will chime in here and maybe answer that one! 😀
Thanks everyone, we are very happy that you had a good time and are already starting to think of ideas for next year. Toss out whatever you would like to see. How about a “themed” bash next time? Suggestions? What do you like, not like. Any and all suggestions considered! 😀 We have done all requested ideas before (I think we got them all 😯 ) so, let us know what you want!
So what were your favorite hides so we know what you like for next year? 😀
Yeah, we brought that up to the Chamber, they were in charge of the bags. Drop them an e-mail so they know to do this more next year. I thought there was a lot of stuff in the bags this year though, but I agree, more coupons are always great. 😉
