I would like to add, that last year Anne posted odds on winning with actually less tickets someplace. I don’t have time to search for it right now, but be assured your odds of winning are actually greater with us doing it this way. 😀
I love them and respect them. It also thrills me that one of the cemetery caches I have has brought attention to a gentleman that many would have forgotten, but now gets visitors all the time even though nobody knows who he is! One Unknown Man: GCT0MR 😀
I love the series and hoped to finish it. I brought it to the attention of a friend who also enjoys these types of hides. I was surprised to find the final archived though 🙁 Even though the additional logging requirements are no longer necessary, I still wish there was a final at the end since I already started it.
I am so glad you made a new list. I am sure there are others like me who will use it. Appreciate that! Thank you! 😀
I would also like a set or even two if there are enough!
Lovely designs! I like them all and would not want to be the one to decide. Anxious to see what else people come up with! 😀
It’s not the size that matters, it’s how you use it… 😛 😯 😆
Yeah! Thank you WGA for helping to support this event and loaning us your equipment! I look forward to pancakes again too! Yummy! 😀
Never mind, figured it out.
I have one cache that has to be disabled because the park closes for the winter months and unless someone wants a REALLY long walk in, and go against park rules, they won’t get it.
I got my GPS and was so excited to get my first cache. I was sitting there trying to think of what to pick for a name and a dove landed right on the fence in front of me and looked lonesome. So I came up with Lonesumdove. I also love the Lonesomedove series of books, Dove chocolate and doves in general. My first name is Laurell and a dove flew back to the ark with a branch in it’s beak and represents peace. I have shorted it now to LDove because that is what I used to write in the logs anyways and a couple people thought I was “lonely” and I got a few interesting e-mails! 🙄 😳 😀 I am enjoying reading the other stories. I want to hear how burrgirl got her name, I would have loved to pick that one myself! 😆
I am a dunderhead ok, I admit it. 😕 I tried your instructions, but… no luck. 😳 Can somebody give me from the time I open the PQ in GSAK what to do to have the PQ delete out the finds? This is not BEFORE I run the PQ, it is after I have it run and it is in my GSAK already. I want to take out the ones I have found already. Thank you!!! 😀
Is the top picture taken at Devil’s River campground by any chance?
Bec, I am going to use those as my background on my computer – NICE!
It got me back into doing more with new groups of friends, a happy result!09/15/2009 at 11:56 am in reply to: Should placing a geocache inside a roundabout be banned? #1914225What is there interesting to see on a roundabout? Nope, not worth the risk of somebody – either a driver or cacher getting hurt.
Just to add a different view on the park and grab statement. Perhaps the way it was worded as an easy park and grab was to PREVENT people from roaming around stepping on graves, etc… Probably a better idea than hiding something where people inevitably will tear stuff up to find it, which as we all know happens in more difficult hides.
