The Town of Raymond founded 1846 (thought my house was not built until 1856) in Racine county. It is from 8 Mile road, (also South county line road), south of Franklin, to 2 mile road, then from I-94 west to Highway 45.
6 by 6, so a standard 36 sq. mile township.
Raymond does not have a post office, so all of our address are Caledonia or Franksville.I will be there at least by Thursday, so I can help set-up on Friday, then I will be available to do what were you need done during the weekend.

Next week I will replace and activate the first and second caches placed in Mirror. They have been out of services for many years as they kept disappearing.
Great to see the change in the weekend. This is only the second camp out since their start that is not in conflict with the amateur radio Hamvention in Dayton Ohio.
The last time they were on different dates I broke my wrist. I had the first two caches in Mirror Lake but they kept disappearing.Who do I contact to help out? I have a camp site at the private campground next to Mirror Lake so I could be up there before the event.
Sorry I did not look at my schedule close enought and I will be working in Green Bay Friday and Saturday. So I will NOT be at the Transmitter hunt.
LeeYes I plan on being there. Hope to see you, and anyone else that can make it.

De WA9HED and I have been WA9HED since 1962.
I have my general and I can found on the 147.39 repeater with PL 151.4 (that’s non standard for this part of the state). That is the hang out for the Milwaukee transmitter hunting group. The next hunt is Friday, October 8, 2004 at 7:30 PM, but the starting point is yet to be determined. For some time now are hunts are only on foot have a Staggered Start. There are always people teaming up with those who have the equipment, so I will post the start location as soon as I hear it and hope that some hams or non-hams can make it.

I sure would like to learn more. If Steve cannot obtain a computer projector, I can. I also have some ideas about projecting the display of a PDA onto the large screen (we have those too). Just let me know.
We have done the complete walk, just not at one time. In fact there is a printed piece that describes some of the high points and it is broken down into shorter walks. We have always gone with some other people, having a second car to spot at the end is nice, like canoeing so you don’t have to go back up stream. It is a very interesting walk, some of the homes are unbelievable, especially when you consider that many are only summer homes, or at least were when they were built. What I have always thought is needed is a guide to the homes that has coordinates so you could use a GPSR and would know for sure you had found the structure that the guide book was talking about. We try to go in late fall very few people around but you do have to walk around some piers that have been taken out of the water.
Is anyone else interested in a date change for next year?? It has always fallen on the same weekend as the largest Amateur radio gathering in the world. I sure would like to make both some year.
Thanks for noticing, I can remember when having 100 finds was a big deal, but now it is so common. The real record I was going for was the longest time to reach 100. I really thought about not doing the 100th until May 5, as May 5, 2001 was the date of my first cache, although I joined Geocaching.com in March 2001.
Thanks
