Thanks everyone. The funny thing is we didn’t even plan it ahead of time. We just happened to realize that we were both hitting the same milestone on the same caching trip after we had started!
OOOOO!!! Mountain is smack dab in the middle of one of two areas I still need to complete for the DeLorme Challenge. Plus I hear this is a super-fun time!
Definately looking at trying to go this year!!!
After some digging, I managed to find the original activation code database for this coin on my old computer. If you send me the tracking number, I can get you the code!

Korpal – hrmm..he’s showing up on a lot of lists….is that a sign? 😛
K0RPL shows up on my list too. Apparently, Justin is a bit of a geocaching ho.
JUST KIDDING! Luv ya, Justin! 😉
I’ve seen the Rhinelapus in a couple of those weird books.

When I heard the blurb on the TV about “blah blah blah pipe bomb blah blah blah Retzers“, I feared this was another Allouez incident all over – though after thinking about it, I couldn’t think of any caches there that could possibly be mistaken for one.
While having a potentially dangerous device (I think I can use that word here) there is obviously a very bad thing, I’m a bit relieved it wasn’t a cache this time.
I moved one from Milton to Appleton in January. (TB2QKMZ)
I can’t wait!
Team Deejay said he would help out. If you haven’t heard from him, shoot him a message.
All my coins have been done by Oakcoins and while they may not be the cheapest, they are very good to work with – responsive and fast.
When I was putting together last year’s Wisconsin coin, I googled “geocoin” to find as many producers that I could, then contacted them all for bids. You could start with something like that.
But if you want to go by reputation more than cost, besides Oakcoins I’ve heard good things about Hogwildstuff.
Here’s a bookmark list by Team Hemisphere Dancers that lists lots of IAT caches:

A place to start anyway.
Wow – a booth at the garden expo. Cool beans!
The Ice Age Trail Foundation people have promoted the formation of earthcaches along the trail. Maybe we can get them interested in a geocoin as well.
What I wouldn’t like to see is somebody making and selling a coin on their own without the IATF okay. Proceeds from anything like this should benefit them directly.

You get your query from Geocaching.com, not from GSAK. Set up a pocket query on the site. The site will email it to you. Save the zip file they send you somewhere that you can find it. Run GSAK and File|load the file. Done. (Yes, it is that easy. The harder part is setting up the pocket query to do what you want.)
If you are a Premium Member of course.
Congratulations to the winners! I wish there had been 8 spots open instead of 5!
