Jay Mills – WI State Parks
“The Wisconsin State Picture lists the State Parks. Might work better just listing the Parks within the State border rather than the location of park.”
CinemaBoxers – Forward (state symbols)
“The colors are translucent with textures underneath – EXCEPT for the robin, muskie, and lighthouse. Coin should be in antique or satin gold – with textures in the background. The state on the front would be POLISHED gold.”
LostBy7 – Choose Your Game (Discover & Explore Wisconsin)
“The tracking number would go under the barn.”

OK, I have to close this thread now. Jeremy is in the process of setting up the voting poll and needs a list of the entrants. I will be creating a new thread that contains all the art posted here that the poll will refer to.
At this time, we can only list the ones who posted some kind of artwork. For everyone else who had ideas (and there were some great ones), I would recommend keeping them in mind for any future Wisconsin coin editions.
Thanks again to everyone who has put their creative efforts forward here. I will be announcing the winner one week after the poll starts…..
Here’s a great one I found for Terminator Sam:
Little Monkey’s Little Car Exchange (GC10CWV)
It’s down in Janesville.
And for Angel, I was thinking maybe this one would work:
And for Kim Worst:
It has the correct initials in the GC# – and in the right order too!

I don’t think this needs a picture, but, having Wisconsin’s most northern, southern, eastern and western co-ords on the coin would be cool. Maybe inscribed on the edge of the coin.
Whether this would be feasable would depend on which design wins and how much an edge inscription would be. We’ll keep it in mind tho.
The night caches at the campout can be even more creative. Besides reflectors, people use lights, sounds, glow-in-the-dark stuff….
I love being out in the woods at night! 😈

The answer Lostby7 got about the impact of a late start is making us think that maybe we will play again too. Think much will depend upon the exact requirements of the “hunt” Good luck to all. May the outlaws be outwitted by the WI posse!!!!
I may be wrong, but I believe that the clock doesn’t start for you until you click on an outlaw and I think it stops when you “catch” him. So there is much less time pressure than before.
OK, the deadline for idea submissions was yesterday. If anyone has any last minute things they want to post, I will leave this thread open until such time as we get the poll started which should be this weekend. Last call!

I know there is one in the state at least. He was last seen hiding out in Waukesha County.
And he be one shady character. I reckon I may just hunt him down first, seein’ as how he been terrorizing my neighborhood and all. But I guess I’ll have to see what requirements they be needing to get him.
We will be there. I think my kids actually prefer pulling garlic mustard to finding caches:

buggles – kids who come over and “bug” me asking what I am doing
Good word – I can totally relate.
I am posting this for Team Hemisphere Dancer. It is a really bad scan of what he sent me. If anyone knows how to turn a ppt slide with multiple imposed images into something postable, let me know.
Anyway, this is his description:
“Its the best I can do with my skills but it should give you an idea. The (canoe) image would be the back side of the coin. The coin would be in the shape of Wisconsin. Any verbiage that you want could be put on it. But I was thinking a pewter coin with a lot of relief would look the best.”
I see Johnny Waypoint has been chosen as one of the quest outlaws. Guess I know which one I’m going after first! 😈
Hmmmm, the cow I have in my clipart file doesn’t seem to be what you are describing. Can anyone help with this?
