Awwwww, Ralph is a cute baby!
What kind of coin is it?
Oh yeah, the icon:

Jeremy didn’t like the first pictures, so here is a better scan of them:

Also, I wanted to add that the coin is 2 1/4 inches wide at its widest point. It is black nickel with imitation hard enamel.

Publications seem to be taking longer these days…where I had normally gotten my ECs published in 2-3 days I have been hearing people waiting well over a week lately…
It was two weeks for me. Then they wanted changes – which I did. So now I’m waiting again for final approval.
Greyhounder and I had a stupendous weekend caching in Door County. I haven’t tried logging anything yet – maybe I’ll wait until tomorrow.
That set up you showed us was way cool. Thanks for the links.
Yeah, geoswag used to make what you are talking about, but I don’t see them anymore there either.
Drat, I thought this was going to be an offer to carve stamps for people. The last one I tried turned out pretty lame.

Having previously been part of the “hard core” scrapbooking world—trust me, it exists, as silly as that sounds!—I have seen how becoming preoccupied with a seemingly benign hobby can lead to all kinds of problems.
I scrapbook all of our geocaching adventures so I must really be on a road to trouble. I leave all of the scrapbooking go until snowy days in the winter and I guess that becomes my mock geocaching. Did 50 pages last winter. Help!
I used to “scrapbook” every cache find. Two pages in a binder were dedicacted to a cache description, pictures I took, a copy of my log and any other pertinent info such as puzzle answers or multi stage coords. Once I hit 500 finds, I just couldn’t keep it up anymore.

I know the spot exactly .. nice location!
He he he – anyone who has done Hairway to Stephen will know this area well.
OK – all the paperwork is in the mail! Now it’s just a matter of getting them submitted.

Yay! I finally heard back from Paul Sondgren who will approve this for me once I get him the paperwork, plus has already given an OK for another earthcache farther south in Kettle Moraine. Look for both of them soon!
Sweet!…perhaps I will plan an EC day and hit those two as well as the two I haven’t gotten around to Southeast of Whitewater.
The other one is fairly close to AuntieNae’s Lone Tree Bluff earthcache (it would use the same parking) and just as onerous to get to. 😀
