Never once have I seen anyone in this forum be anything other than polite and welcoming to any new person with a legitimate question.

Personality conflicts are bound to arise within any large group and sometimes that happens in some of the debates going on. But a few controversial threads shouldn’t be the basis of judgement on the entire forum.

If your friend wants to see some real abuse, send him over to the GC.com forums….

OOOOOOooooo! Bec has special gnarly powers now!

I would come to a paperless part deux to go over Cachemate more, maybe more details about the advanced capabilities of GSAK too. I vote for late April (like the 29th perhaps to avoid the Waukesha event). Not that you have to schedule this around us of course, but May is not lookin good here on my calendar.

Thanks Puppies! Wish there had been more time to discuss stuff. Any chance of there being a second event?

in reply to: any tb’s want to go to florida? #1761104

I just picked up one today that wants to visit all the states, but it has already been to all the ones around here. Florida would be a good place for it. I’ll email you about it.

I go out to clean and restock my bigger caches a couple times a year. It is amazing what people will leave there. An empty Tic Tac box? Is there some kind of value to these I don’t know about? And may I add – Please don’t stuff something too big into the smaller ones. If you want to trade out of small caches, get some small stuff!!!

Thank you – I feel better now.

    Too stupid?

Bec you gotta have more faith in yourself! These are very cute! Much better that a lot of the junk we find in caches, right people?

I see a dog there. Sure, it’s a dog made from cheese, but still a dog!

I don’t think this is the case. I’m the president of a non-profit and we give a out a college scholarship every year. We don’t receive any benefit from this (other than goodwill). Sounds like bench donations would be similar. I really like this idea, especially as a way to give back to the parks that host our events.

My vote is for the fourth. I’ll be too busy caching in Watertown on the 11th.

    I like 10am. 11 works too.

I see the El Bastardo caches as a personal challenge!

OK, I’ve only done 3 of them. But I swear the rest will be conquered someday!!!

    Well, finally!

Keep on truckin’ Bob! Is there going to be a new cache placed in honor of this event?

Thanks for the opportunity to tell everyone who is running that they all deserve to win! It is a very tough choice to make – narrowing it down to just four. I hope those that aren’t elected will be willing to run again in the future.
