You know, I don’t have to pre-order these and front the money for them to have them at my event. I just didn’t want everyone emailing me about them. And I did say I would post the ordering link when it was available, didn’t I?
Bec, if you can’t make the event – I’m sure we’ll get you one!

* * * * * * * * * *If all goes well, I will have about 15 Team Badger coins in hand to sell at my event. I’m not going to take pre-orders, they will be first-come-first-served. Price is a bit high at $10, but they are being shipped from the UK and trackable (I’m not taking any profit).
GCRW3Z – Jan 28, 8:30 am, come one come all!
There should be other opportunities to buy these out there. If it’s announced in the geocoin forums, I’ll post a link.

* * * * * * * * * *Looks like a great group has signed up so far, including a new bunch in the area I’m looking forward to meeting: Team Little Bug.
I got my finders crossed for the rest of you who have not been able to commit yet! And of course for decent weather…..

Cute pic!
I also happened to notice another milestone for you: post #666.

* * * * * * * * * *Thanks Bec. The two closest are the Holiday Inn Express and the Mile-Away which is a little mom-&-pop motel type place. If you need help with getting lodging, let me know.
I did the same thing with the Kenosha event last month. MB helped get me a room at the resort she works at so I didn’t have to drag the kids out of bed so early.

OK, I’m not sure where this term originated, but it refers to the log sheets that can be found and signed at events in places such as the inside the salt shaker, the cell phone, under the egg rolls, inside the ketchup squirter (yes, it’s empty!), behind the flowers, on the elevator wall, inside the pumpkin at the check-in table…..
They are fun to find. Some people log them, some don’t.

That’s my 2 cents. . . .
I agree with you there. I enjoy them, but do not log them. However, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a “pocket cache” at an official WGA event. Only at smaller events held by individuals have I seen them – and the WGA board has no authority over those.

* * * * * * * * * *If Slinger is where the cache is, it’s not that far away, Bec. We’ve cached there once together already.
All I know about coyotes is their howl can send chills up your spine. The first time I heard them, I thought somebody was screaming in the woods. Kinda creepy. I’m afraid that’s not very helpful as to your question, however.

Kid-friendly, but I they didn’t mention a discount for them. I’ll ask though. It will be a breakfast buffet (unless fewer that 12 people come – then we have to order off the menu – but that won’t happen, will it?? *biting nails*) 8:30 am, a few temp hides for after.
Bec – if you can’t make it, be sure to send your mom!

* * * * * * * * * *I don’t really know any more details than what I already posted. I’ll let you know when I hear from him again.
I assume he’s selling some coins on ebay to defray the cost of making it. By doing it before others have a chance to buy any, he doesn’t have to compete against anyone.
