When it comes to caching, I’m usually up for whatever. Though, I have enjoyed those snowshoeing trips.
Yup, barring emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances.
Garmin Colorado 300 – Handheld

C:Geo – smartphoneI’m going to have to side with the Commander on this one. I’ve been on other boards and things before, but I haven’t been on this one. If elected to this board, I’d probably look at the officer positions for my second year.
Haven’t forgotten this one either, but it’s hard for me to list out accomplishments. I hate doing resumes, just give me a bit and I’ll have an answer.
I haven’t forgetten this one. Still thinking.
Yes, on the ones I had a hand in placing. The adopted caches, I have not though I debate that decision with myself every now and then.
I put it on my caches because I like the people here and want to steer other people in this direction.
financials, disputes, helping to moderate the forums, potential talks with various gov’t offices (this has been handled quite well in the past, but it might show up again)…..other things that people don’t want to do….is that what you’re looking for?
Not this time. Ask me next year.
No idea. Of the people who drop off, are most of them still caching? Does anyone around here still know them? Did anyone ask them?
I guess that also answers the second part of your question: research.5 and 2/3. Still working on the next wherigo. Adopted quite a few more.
Other than giving a better understanding of the review process and requirements for your home area, I don’t think cache placing (or finding for that matter) really factors into the BOD. It was almost alluded to in another question, but really it comes down to the BOD works so that everyone else can have fun.
Because it sounded like a good idea at the time.
As far as long hours and hard work, just ask my close friends and family, I fail at doing nothing.
When it comes to not getting caches at events, oh well. check my record for caching at the WBCB. I have more fun helping other people.
If everyone was happy with me all the time, I would be the best liar that ever existed. Nobody completely agrees with anyone else, just ask your significant other.
So back to why I want to be a director…because I want to help out the people who seem to think that I can do this job. Also, having not been on the board for an organization with this broad of a territory, it might be fun.
I’m the best me that’s ever been me.
I can pick things up and put them done.
I can make quick decisions or plan ahead as the situation dictates.
I still haven’t learned to keep my mouth shut, so I have a tendency to accidentally volunteer for things.
Fiercely loyal and a little stubborn. This is rather hard because I don’t take myself seriously enough to list out my skills, abilities or qualities. Usually, I just think to myself that I want to do this. Then I do it.
1. If they don’t take my opinion, there’s nothing to handle.
2. I’ve been on boards and committees before as well as having been a stage manager and assistant director for a community theater a few times. Things that need to get done will get done, whether I’m telling someone else to do it, asking for help, or doing it myself.I can take GCV96Q: The Mouth of the River.
Give me a day or 2 and I’ll be able to take GCV96H: DePere Rapids -
