Attempted Slough Gundy today but the water was high and my feet and pants got wet. Could not safely cross today. Went down river to make Little Falls the 1000 cache. The water was really high and fast today so the falls was very neat too. Great area and we enjoyed it a lot. Will keep your suggestions though so we can hit the other highlights another time. Thanks!

Ah, we were hosting a 9 year olds birthday party and couldn’t make it, but fireworks? Jeff! What a host 🙂
I was working at WalMart at the time and some coworkers called in and some people came in and mentioned it. It was really hard to grasp until seeing it and the devistation on the TV. We were glued for days to all the new coverage until it became too much. We will never forget.
I had no idea that the edited cache logs would not be sent to me as a cache owner and then logs that I edited are not sent on to CO. Thanks for that tidbit.
We were planning to pick up the Briggs Lake cache near Danbury this weekend but we had a change of plans. Hope to still grab it this fall and possibly replace it but not sure how the ATV trails are up there as the winds took down most of the trees in that area. I think the trails are still closed but we should be able to walk out to that one.
We just got the 450 (mine) this year to use along with the 60csx (his). We really like it and have no complaints. I love having all the page info in one spot. I guess I don’t have the other Oregons to compare it to though, but I love it!
