I can say that I have never had a FTP What a sad state of affairs.
Lookie lookie…this site is still up and running.
Now, without singling anyone out, it is my opinion that the WGA should not be rallying to shut down all state parks and natural areas as long as the governor has not ordered them closed. .
OK, but you DID single someone out at the beginning of this thread. The WGA is NOT ârallying to shut down all state parks and natural areas.â The WGA is not making an official stance on the matter, largely because we have no control over how the state government chooses to react to the Covid situation. The comment that you referenced was made by an individual member of the board, expressing his personal opinion, not the direction or consensus of the board as a whole.
I thought the same thing but the OP claims that is not the case so you and I must have misunderstood the original intent.
Also did not vote. This a complicated and multifaceted issue…plus I’d hate to get drilled for having an opinion.
If an event is scheduled to take place after the 24th of April it should be published but the odds of it getting archived are HIGH. IMO events should not be held until late summer or fall as those within the next couple of months are likely to be canceled due to the current crisis.
At the moment no events will be published if they are to occur between now and the 24th of April. If state restrictions are extended then so too will the event moratorium. There are a few events that are currently on the books for a few days after the April 24th shelter in place expiration date; those events are in danger of being canceled. The reviewers will attempt to provide a two week notice prior to archiving any events.
Indeed, that is an impressive list.
I’m surprised to see so many private groups….and so many groups in general. I see why the WGA site is taking a hit on visits.
I’m not that savvy with the facebook. How can we make the WGA have a greater presence on it? It seems to me that we as an organization have not really kept pace with the social media changes.
…Sounds like maybe we need a GROUP rather than a PAGE if I’m reading Johns post correctly.
There will be one in the Lake country area as wellâŠ.Oconomowoc/Hartland/Pewaukee.
Choices, choices . . .
I have tentatively tapped a few locals to help me out with the detailsâŠ.event holding is not my fortĂ©.
If you havenât contacted mufflers . . . she (Laurie) may be a good choice as she is historically intimate with Oconomowoc
Very true.
I didn’t see her at BINGO last night or I would have asked her about it…..

Delete and send a note asking why they are logging bugs they never saw.
By submitting a cache to geocaching.com you are stating that you have permission for EVERY cache you place. That said, the reviewers will only ask for the permission to be stated formally in certain instances like in the case of private property for example (this includes store parking lots and utility equipment like hydrants, poles and electrical boxes). Its usually a decent idea to contact the city and see what the rules are for their parks and properties and to post that information in a reviewer note when submitting a cache. Posting permission information in a review note is usually a good way to avoid delays in getting a cache published.
Congrats to the new board and thanks to all who threw their hat in the ring.
BTW: donât mention Pokeomon Go in a cache description, they wonât publish it.
very true.
I’m level 13 and having a blast.Â
